Hogsmeade Valley Merlin Trial Location #1

(1 of 3) Head to this location on the map

The first "Hogsmeade" iconHogsmeade Valley Merlin Trial can be found south of "Upper Hogsfield" iconUpper Hogsfield, so use the Upper Hogsfield Floo Flame and you’ll find the circular platform sitting amongst some rocks. Use Mallowsweet to begin the trial. Here you’ll need to destroy 5 stone pillars by shooting at them with the "Confringo" iconConfringo Spell.

Head to this location on the map (left), and use !Confringo on these 3 Torches. (right)

The second Hogsmeade Valley Merlin Trial can be found southeast of Upper Hogsfield, so use the East Hogsmeade Valley Floo Flame and walk northwest to find the circular platform. Use Mallowsweet to begin the trial, then you’ll need to cast Confringo on three torches before they drop otherwise you’ll have to start again.

Hogsmeade Valley Merlin Trial Location #3

Head to this location on the map (left), and direct the ball into the hole with !Wingardium Leviosa (right)

The third Hogsmeade Valley Merlin Trial can be found northwest of Falbarton Castle Floo Flame. Use Mallowsweet to begin the trial, then walk north a few steps to find a large ball. Here you’ll need to "Wingardium Leviosa" iconWingardium Leviosa and direct it into a hole that’s located down a hill to the southwest.

Hogsmeade Valley Merlin Trial Location #4

The fourth Hogsmeade Valley Merlin Trial can be found north of Falbarton Castle Floo Flame. Use Mallowsweet to begin the trial, then you’ll see three pillars with diamond shaped hole carved into them. Here you’ll need to stand near the nearby "Butterflies" iconButterflies and cast "Lumos" iconLumos to cause them to follow you, then navigate them to the pillars. Once all the pillars are lit, then trial will be completed.

Hogsmeade Valley Merlin Trial Location #5

Head to this location on the map (left), and use the !Lumos to bring butterflies to the pillars. (right)

The fifth Hogsmeade Valley Merlin Trial can be found east of Hogsmeade, so use the East Hogsmeade Valley Floo Flame and walk south to find the circular platform. Here you’ll need to do the same as the previous trial, use Lumos near some Butterflies and guide them to three pillars to complete it.
