If you’re striving for the platinum trophy in Helldivers 2 or trying to get all the achievements on PC, you’ll find that you need to complete some unique tasks in the process, some of which are related to hidden achievements/trophies such as Stalking is illegal, which requires you to complete a stalker hive tactical objective. Where to Find Stalkers in Helldivers 2¶
The Stalking Is Illegal Achievement/Trophy in Helldivers 2 will require you to complete a stalker hive tactical sub-objective which can be identified as a blue marker on Rank 5 Blitz: Search and Destroy missions on Terminid Planets. When you come across a stalker, you’ll want to injure it by having everyone focus fire on it. It will eventually retreat back to its lair, at which point you can close all of the holes by launching a grenade into it.
Stalking is Illegal Hidden Achievement/Trophy Unlock Conditions¶
To complete the Stalking is Illegal achievement/trophy in Helldivers 2, it’s not enough to just kill the stalkers. You actually have to close and destroy their lairs by either throwing a grenade into them as described above, or using a powerful stratagem to destroy them.
Stalkers can be fairly tanky, so you’ll want to make sure you carry powerful stratagems such as the Stalwart for its damage output, and Supply Packs so you can easily resupply yourself and your teammates during the battle. This will prevent you from having to retreat and lose the stalkers location. Additionally, Stalkers are able to go invisible so you’ll want to make sure everyone carries smoke grenades as these will reveal its location. If you haven’t unlocked a smoke grenade yet then you can do so via the in-game battle pass.
