You’ll find yourself going up against a variety of enemies in Helldivers 2 and they are placed into two categories: Terminids and Automatons. Scout Striders are an Automaton type enemy that can be found on a Automaton Controlled planet at any difficulty. Best Way To Defeat Scout Striders¶
If you’re trying to level up quickly then you’ll want to make sure you complete every major order when they become available and sometimes killing Scout Striders will be one of the tasks given. As mentioned above, you can find Scout Striders roaming around on Automaton Controlled planets (Malevelon Creek and Ubana) at any difficulty but defeating them can be tricky due to their armor and movement speed. However, you can take them down relatively easily by entering the mission well-prepared.
To begin, you’ll want to be using an assault rifle and equip any of the following Patriotic Administration Centre Stratagems: Rail Gun, Machine Gun, or Stalwart as this will allow you to deal more damage at a faster rate. Additionally, Scout Striders may require you to use a lot of ammunition, so we recommend that you also carry a Supply Pack to allow you to resupply your teammates or yourself easily during battle. Once you’re prepared, you’ll want to track down the Scout Rider and then start chipping away at their legs to limit its mobility then you’ll want to shift your attention and start focusing on the pilot.
