There are a variety of enemies (17 to be exact) in Helldivers 2 and they are separated into two categories: the Terminids and the Automatons. Raiders fall into the Automatons type and they can be found on Automaton Planets at any difficulty. On this page, we’ll guide you through the necessary steps to finding Raiders and defeating them!

Helldivers 2 Raiders Locations¶
Raiders are one of the most common Automaton enemies that you’ll find on all Automaton Controlled planets at all difficulties. Automaton Controlled planets are highlighted as red on the galactic war map. However, Automaton enemies can be a little stronger than Terminid enemies, so we recommend that you take some time to gain a few levels and purchase medium armor from the free battle pass so you can take a few more hits. The best method to level in Helldivers 2 is to make sure that you complete the major and personal orders which update regularly, and sometimes defeating Raiders will be one of the objectives.
How to Defeat Raiders in Helldivers 2¶
Although Raiders aren’t the most difficult enemies to deal with from the Automaton fleet, you’ll still want to make sure that you’re using the right equipment and focusing on firing at the right areas to take the Raiders down as quickly as possible, otherwise you’ll easily get overwhelmed by hundreds of them and the chance of death increases. The quickest way to deal with Raiders is by focusing on firing at their heads from a distance while using an automatic weapon, such as an assault rifle. Alternatively, if you prefer playing up close and personal then you’ll want to bring along a shotgun.
