Talent Art

Sharla’s Cool Off Talent Art is one of the more unique ones in the game in the fact that it’s more of a penalty than anything. As Sharla uses her Arts, the Talent Gauge will gradually fill and once its full, her Ether Rifle becomes Overheated and she loses the ability to attack, use Arts and even move until it finishes cooling off. Activating this Talent Art however will allow you to manually cool down the Ether Rifle and thus, prevent it from overheating. There is a caveat to this however, as her Rifle is cooler, her effectiveness of her Healing Arts will increase whereas as the gauge fills more, her attack based Arts will deal more damage. What’s more, when controlled by the AI, Sharla will never manually use Cool Down and will always wait for it to overheat.

Normal Arts

These are all of the normal Arts for Sharla, which are learned as she levels up.

Heal Bullet

Level Learned Art Type
Default Blue; Ether

This is Sharla’s first healing Art and despite not healing for much at lower Ranks, it’s on a short cooldown so you can use it more often. Once ranked up to X and paired with Drive Boost, you can use this Art at will which makes this Art that should be an ever present on your palette.

Book Type Location
Intermediate Refugee Camp Shop (Bionis’ Leg)
Advanced Gloria Slobos, Magnificent Digalus, Deinos Sauros

Thunder Bullet

Level Learned Art Type
Default Purple; Ether

Despite being one of her default Arts, Thunder Bullet is actually her best attacking Art (even though there’s only a few she learns). With it being a purple Art, it will allow her to chain with Melia and Riki and if you pair this with the ever useful Drive Boost, you’ll shorten the cooldown a lot more to increase her DPS.

Book Type Location
Intermediate Refugee Camp Shop (Bionis’ Leg)
Advanced Erratic Goliante, Falsel Bunniv, Arel Telethia

Shield Bullet

Level Learned Art Type
Default Blue; Ether

Shield Bullet is an Ether based Art that will prevent damage of any type (including Spikes) until it reaches a certain HP threshold. This is increased by the rank but it never reaches anything about 2500 HP while also having a lengthy cooldown so at best, this is an Art that can be used to perhaps survive an otherwise lethal attack.

Book Type Location
Intermediate Refugee Camp Shop (Bionis’ Leg)
Advanced Sacred Zagamei, Laeklit Mammut

Cure Bullet

Level Learned Art Type
Default Blue; Ether

Cure Bullet is one of Sharla’s better healing Arts and one you should always make room for on your palette. It will remove any Debuffs from a single target along with making them immune for any further Debuffs for the next few seconds all while on a short cooldown, what’s not to love?

Book Type Location
Intermediate Refugee Camp Shop (Bionis’ Leg)
Advanced Carbon Tude, Flailing Bracken, Throne Sardi

Tranquilliser

Level Learned Art Type
12 Purple; Ether

Tranquilliser is a fairly simple Art, when cast, it inflicts the Sleep Debuff on a single enemy Sleep will stop an enemy from using any Arts throughout the duration but they will wake when struck (of which will always be a Critical). This is an Art that is usually better when controlling Sharla although the AI can make good use of it at times.

Book Type Location
Intermediate Refugee Camp Shop (Bionis’ Leg)
Advanced Field Altrich, Jadals Arachno

Heal Blast

Level Learned Art Type
14 Blue; Ether

Heal Blast is essentially a better Heal Bullet, healing for more HP but on a longer cooldown. At lower ranks of the Art, the cooldown is very long but focus on upgrading it and the cooldown becomes a lot more manageable.

Book Type Location
Intermediate Refugee Camp Shop (Bionis’ Leg)
Advanced Satorl Torta, Deadly Medorlo

Metal Blast

Level Learned Art Type
16 Pink; Physical

Metal Blast is a rather unremarkable Art for Sharla and a worse choice for your palette over Thunder Bullet. When used, you’ll deal Break damage to enemies in a line however the main issue is that this Art is based on Sharla’s Strength, her lowest stat so it will always remain low on damage.

Book Type Location
Intermediate Hope Farm Shop (Colony 6), Drainage Control Room Shop (Ether Mine)
Advanced Satorl Torta, Goldi Kromar, Judicious Bunnitzol

Heal Round

Level Learned Art Type
18 Blue; Ether

Heal Round is the last of Sharla’s direct healing Arts and this one will impact all targets at the strength of just below Heal Blast. The main issue to note however about this Art is that you’ll need to rank it up to make the cooldown more manageable and the fact that it uses a large chunk of her Talent Gauge up.

Book Type Location
Intermediate Hope Farm Shop (Colony 6), Drainage Control Room Shop (Ether Mine)
Advanced Green Feris, Masterful Gigapur

Heat Bullet

Level Learned Art Type
22 Blue; Ether

Heat Bullet is a rather unique Art that you’ll find useful in certain situations. When used, it will raise the Tension of a single target, this means you’ll be able to make better use of Seven and Riki’s Tension based Arts and the fact that it’s on a low cooldown means you can use it at will.

Book Type Location
Intermediate Weapon Shop (Frontier Village)
Advanced Dark Hox, Reckless Galdon, Trava Kromar

Covert Stance

Level Learned Art Type
26 Aura

Covert Stance is Sharla’s first Aura and it has some uses depending on how often you’re taking Aggro from the tank with her healing Arts. While active, you’ll lose a large chunk of Aggro while preventing the generation of anymore while it’s still active. A useful Art for if you struggle with controlling the enemies with your tank.

Book Type Location
Intermediate Weapon Shop (Frontier Village)
Advanced Admiral Arachno, Canyon Valencia

Head Shaker

Level Learned Art Type
30 Yellow; Physical

Head Shaker is a strange Art choice for Sharla despite it being an Art that inflicts Daze on a Toppled enemy. Like Metal Blast, this is a Physical based Art and on top of that, it’s an Art that has a lengthy animation meaning you’ll have to get your timing just right.

Book Type Location
Intermediate Weapon Shop (Frontier Village)
Advanced Frost Nebula, Plump Sprahda, Sol Grady

Aura Bullet

Level Learned Art Type
34 Blue; Ether

Aura Bullet is another situational Art that can see limited use if you’re controlling Sharla yourself. When used, it will extend the duration of an Aura that is active, this includes Sharla (although the AI will never cast it on itself). This can be useful however many of the best Auras have short cooldowns once they’ve been ranked up making this less useful.

Book Type Location
Intermediate Weapon Shop (Frontier Village)
Advanced Green Feris, Lahar Flamii, Mysterious Barnaby

Heal Counter

Level Learned Art Type
38 Blue; Ether

Heal Counter is a lackluster Art for one coming so late in her list of Arts. When used, it places a Buff on the target that will heal them for 5% of their max HP until it wears off. This can be a bit better at higher ranks where it will heal for more but as you’re relying on being hit to get healed, it’s not something worth relying on and should never be taken over her better healing Arts.

Book Type Location
Intermediate Colony 6 Shop, Syrath Lighthouse Shop (Eryth Sea)
Advanced Territorial Rotbart, Rhoen Quadwing

Head Shot

Level Learned Art Type
42 Red; Physical

Head Shot is a misleading Art based on the description the game gives it. When used, it will deal a Critical hit to the enemy based off Sharla’s Strength stat and has a 15% chance to cause Instant Death to a non Boss or Unique Monster. This can be useful for Chain Attack purposes if you have her in a Physical party (which you shouldn’t) as it’s her only red Art but aside from that, there’s better Arts to slot.

Book Type Location
Intermediate Hidden Village Shop (Fallen Arm), Colony 6 Shop
Advanced Fascia Bunniv, Armoured Rockwell

Cure Round

Level Learned Art Type
46 Blue; Ether

Cure Round, like Heal Round before it, is a party-wide Cure Bullet albeit on a longer cooldown. You can bring this down at higher ranks and it is useful to cure the whole party of Debuffs for the most part, Cure Bullet is the better choice.

Book Type Location
Intermediate Hidden Village Shop (Fallen Arm), Colony 6 Shop
Advanced Bulganon Nebula, Resplendent Flamii

Drive Boost

Level Learned Art Type
50 Aura

Drive Boost is arguably Sharla’s best Art and one you should keep on your palette at all times. When active, this Aura will reduce the cooldown of her Arts from 20% (Rank I) to 65% (Rank X) which will allow you to fire off Arts at will. You won’t be able to move or auto-attack but that’s not where the strength lies and with Thunder Bullet being a 3 second cooldown at max rank of Drive Boost, you can use that instead.

Book Type Location
Intermediate Hidden Village Shop (Fallen Arm), Colony 6 Shop
Advanced Eryth Rhana, Musical Vanflare
