One of the more difficult trophies/achievements to unlock in Monster Hunter Wilds is Explorer of the Eastlands. You will need to track down 10 rare gathering items that are of at least rarity 6. The difficult part of the trophy is finding where to find each item, as they won’t appear 100% of the time. Read on to find out where to find each of the rarity 6 items, and how to earn the Explorer of the Eastlands trophy.

Obtaining the Items

As mentioned above, there are 10 gathering items of Rarity 6 that you need to get for this trophy. These are: "Large Goldenscale Vase" iconLarge Goldenscale Vase, "Queensbloom Pollen" iconQueensbloom Pollen, "Nightflower Pollen" iconNightflower Pollen, "Time-honed Wylk Gem" iconTime-honed Wylk Gem, "Genesis Opal" iconGenesis Opal, "Great Windward Aloe" iconGreat Windward Aloe, "Thundering Fulgurite" iconThundering Fulgurite, "Eternal Scarlet Amber" iconEternal Scarlet Amber, "Bulky Treasure" iconBulky Treasure, and "Antimite Mass" iconAntimite Mass. The majority of these items can only be found in rare gathering deposits that only appear during emergences, except for the first three items.

If these deposits are available, you’ll be able to track them on the map by pressing DualSense-DPad-Right-Filled, selecting the white herb and then filtering the map to Gathering. If the deposit is on there, select it and set waypoint. That way, your Seikret will take you straight to it. Finally, note that no item is a guaranteed spawn, it just has a chance of spawning in that area when certain conditions are met.

To meet these conditions, you’ll need to do a couple of things. Firstly, change the weather and time, which can be accessed by resting at your tent or your "Portable BBQ Grill" iconPortable BBQ Grill, and paying the 300 Guild Points. The second thing is to check what emergences are currently available in the listed areas below. To do this, you can open your map, press DualSense-ButtonSquare-Filled (Xbox-ButtonX-Filled Xbox) and check out the Environment Overview to the right. Scroll down to see what emergences are currently happening, and shift through the tabs to check out the forecast for what emergence will happen later.

Large Goldenscale Vase Location

You can find the Large Goldenscale Vase can be obtained from two places. The first is as a reward from completing the “"What We Protect" iconWhat We Protect” side quest, which becomes accessible after completing mission 4-3, "Wyvern Sparks and Rose Thorns" iconWyvern Sparks and Rose Thorns. This quest is obtained by speaking to Alma, and one of the rewards will be the Large Goldenscale Vase. The second place you can find this item is from a Remarkable Relic deposit. Read the table below for the best chance to find it.

Location Fallow Chance Inclemency Chance Plenty Chance
Iceshard Cliffs 0% 0% 20%

As you can see in the table above, your best chance to find a Remarkable Relic deposit is to head over to the Iceshard Cliffs, change the Environment to Plenty, and pray an emergence is happening. You can generally find a deposit or two near Area 20: Ancient Record, outside Rove’s humble abode.
