Where to Find All UNSC Audio Logs¶

There are four categories of UNSC audio logs, with a total of 37 audio logs combined. The categories are listed as Recovered Files, The Prisoner, Outpost Intel, and Infinity’s Approach. All four Recovered Files are automatically acquired during the main Campaign Missions, along with all of The Prisoner UNSC logs. The Outpost Intel logs are located at the Banished Outposts, and the Infinity’s Approach logs are located at the FOBS - Forward Operating Bases. You’ll unlock the Canon Collector achievement once you’ve obtained all UNSC audio logs.

The Prisoner UNSC Audio Logs¶

01 - Not My Fault¶

The “Not My Fault” UNSC audio log can be found during the Foundation mission, after looting the Mjolnir Armor Upgrade for the energy shield.

Interact with the terminal after acquiring the upgrade to confirm that it requires a power seed, which you can find by following the objective marker to a large room with a long walkway into the centre. The Weapon will comment on the genetic repositories in this room. At the end of the walkway you’ll find a power seed and the audio log to the left of it.

02 - What Was Inside¶

The “What Was Inside” UNSC audio log can be found inside The Tower, during the Recovery main mission. After obtaining all the collectibles beneath the tower and entering it using the gravity lift, you’ll find the UNSC audio log as you continue deeper into the tower through the initial doorway and into the hallways. You’ll encounter a few enemies in here, so be ready. The hallways are essentially circular structures, so you shouldn’t get lost and it should be easy to locate the audio log by using the AI Scan to highlight it in yellow. It will also be beeping audibly, making it easier to find.

03 - She Was Smiling¶

The “She Was Smiling” UNSC audio log can be found inside the excavation machine at the heart of the Excavation Site, during the main mission of the same name. After clearing the site of most enemies, you’ll need to enter the machine at the centre of the site, from which the laser is being fired. Get to the top of the machine and then jump down to one of the doors which were previously locked. You’ll find the UNSC audio log close to the entrance here, but you’ll need to kill some Grunts if you want to interact with it in peace first.

04 - Easy To Break¶

The “Easy To Break” UNSC audio log can be found just outside the main Spire structure, as you approach it from the northwest. You’ll find it on the ground next to a UNSC vehicle, as shown in the gif below.

05 - Barely Anything Left¶

The “Barely Anything Left” UNSC audio log can be found within the Nexus, during the mission of the same name. Its exact location is shown in the gif below.

06 - Price Paid¶

The “Price Paid” UNSC audio log can be found during the Repository main mission. Towards the end of the mission, you’ll need to turn left into a side room to find the audio log, as shown in the gif below.

07 - 42410-02214-LB¶

The “42410-02214-LB” UNSC audio log can be found during the House of Reckoning main mission. More specifically, you’ll find it in the Basic Training room, as shown in the gif below.

Outpost Intel UNSC Audio Logs¶

01 - Miscommunications¶

The “Miscommunications” UNSC audio log can be found at the Armory of Reckoning outpost, hidden away between a crack in the rock on the northeastern side, as shown in the gif below.

02 - No Entry¶

the “No Entry” UNSC audio log can also be found at the Armory of Reckoning outpost, in the ruins of a UNSC vehicle at the northwestern side.

03 - Nowhere to Hide¶

The “Nowhere to Hide” UNSC audio log can be found at the Horn of Abolition outpost, on a cliff in the southeastern part, overlooking the grounds of the outpost.

04 - They Are Listening¶

The “They Are Listening” UNSC audio log can also be found at the Horn of Abolition outpost, on the road to the northeast of the grounds.

05 - The Ally¶

The “The Ally” UNSC audio log can be found at the Forge of Teash outpost, in a small cave system outside the grounds.

06 - Digging Deeper¶

The “Digging Deeper” UNSC audio log can also be found at the Forge of Teash outpost, on the other side of the grounds from “The Ally”, as shown in the gif below.

07 - Escape Plan¶

The “Escape Plan” UNSC audio log can be found at the Redoubt of Sundering outpost, within a cave system which can be accessed from the ramp to the left of the structure where you find the squad leader.

08 - Last-Ditch Effort¶

The “Last-Ditch Effort” UNSC audio log can also be found at the Redoubt of Sundering outpost, on a hill top to the left of the main entrance of the redoubt on its northern side.

09 - To Andrew Valleros¶

The “To Andrew Valleros” UNSC audio log can be found at the Ransom Keep outpost, in a ruined UNSC vehicle between two mountains on its southern side.

10 - Making Ends Meet¶

The “Making Ends Meet” UNSC audio log can also be found at the Ransom Keep outpost, on top of a hill at its southern side, above where you found “To Andrew Valleros”.

11 - A Hastily-Assembled Plan¶

The “A Hastily-Assembled Plan” UNSC audio log can be found at the Annex Ridge outpost, in the southwestern part of the outpost, on top of some ring foundations.

12 - Hitching a Ride¶

The “Hitching a Ride” UNSC audio log can also be found at the Annex Ridge outpost, in the northeastern part on top of some ring foundations overlooking the artifact.

13 - Trench Warfare¶

The “Trench Warfare” UNSC audio log can be found at the Riven Gate outpost, in the western part on top of a cliff.

14 - Convalescence¶

The “Convalescence” UNSC audio log can also be found at the Riven Gate outpost, on a higher cliff on the western side.

Infinity’s Approach UNSC Audio Logs¶

01 - Preparations¶

The “Preparations” UNSC audio log can be found at Fob Golf, near the southwestern part of the map, northeast of the Ransom Keep outpost. You’ll find the log on the ground on the fob platform.

02 - Captain’s Report¶

The “Captain’s Report” UNSC audio log can be found at Fob Foxtrot, which is located northwest of Ransom Keep. The log is on the ground of the fob platform.

03 - Duty Clearance¶

The “Duty Clearance” UNSC audio log can be found at Fob Delta, located northeast of the Spire. The log is on the fob platform.

04 - Arrival¶

The “Arrival” UNSC audio log can be found at Fob Lima, located in the southeastern part of the map, directly west of The Command Spire. You’ll find the log on the fob platform.

05 - Zero Hour¶

The “Zero Hour” UNSC audio log can be found at Fob November, located in the southeastern part of the map, north of The Command Spire. The log can be found on the platform of the fob.

06 - Ingress¶

The “Ingress” UNSC audio log can be found at Fob Alpha, located in the northern part of the map, southwest of the Armory of Reckoning.

07 - Objectives¶

The “Objectives” UNSC audio log can be found at Fob Kilo, located in the southern part of the map, just east of Annex Ridge. The log is on the fob platform.

08 - Losing Ground¶

The “Losing Ground” UNSC audio log can be found at Fob Juliet, located in the southern part of the map, north of Annex Ridge. The log is on the fob platform.

09 - Taurus¶

The “Taurus” UNSC audio log can be found at Fob Echo, located northwest of the Redoubt of Sundering. The log can be found on the platform of the fob.

10 - Priorities¶

The “Priorities” UNSC audio log can be found at Fob Charlie, located in the northern part of the map, south of the Excavation Site. You’ll find the log on the fob platform.

11 - Egress¶

The “Egress” UNSC audio log can be found at Fob Bravo, located in the northern part of the map, northeast of the Excavation Site. The log is on the fob platform.

12 - Abandon Ship¶

The “Abandon Ship” UNSC audio log can be found at Fob Hotel, located in the southern part of the map, northwest of Annex Ridge. The log can be found on the fob platform.
