Where to Find All Banished Audio Logs¶

There are a total of 28 Banished audio logs to be found on Zeta Halo. These include 4 Archaeological Findings, 9 Escharum’s Testimony, and 15 Outpost Intel. The Archaeological Findings are all found in the beacons during The Sequence main campaign mission. The Escharum’s Testimony logs are all found during main Campaign Missions, and the Outpost Intel logs are all found at the various Banished outposts, with the last one located at Outpost Tremonius, which forms part of the main story. You’ll unlock the Know Your Enemy achievement once you’ve obtained all Banished audio logs.

Archaeological Findings¶

01 - Reintroduction¶

The “Reintroduction” Banished audio log can be found inside the northern beacon during The Sequence main campaign mission. You’ll find it in the hallway once you enter the beacon.

02 - Assumptions¶

The “Assumptions” Banished audio log can be found inside the eastern beacon during The Sequence main campaign mission. As with the first, you’ll find it in the hallway when you enter the beacon.

03 - Xalanyn¶

The “Xalanyn” Banished audio log can be found inside the southern beacon during The Sequence main campaign mission. Once again, you’ll find it in the hallway inside the beacon.

04 - A Curious Directive¶

The “A Curious Directive” Banished audio log can be found inside the western beacon during The Sequence main campaign mission. As with the others, it’s located in the hallway of the beacon.

Escharum’s Testimony¶

01 - Loss¶

The “Loss” Banished audio log can be found at the upper bridge of Warship Gbraakon. Once you’ve killed all the enemies on the upper bridge, head to the right side of the room (as you enter) and use AI Scan to highlight the audio log. You’ll see it glowing and beeping constantly, so it’s difficult to miss.

02 - Cylix¶

The “Cylix” Banished audio log can be found towards the end of the Foundation main campaign mission. Once you’ve acquired and activated the Weapon, use your AI Scan to highlight the way, as you reach a cavernous room with a crucible in front of you. Interact with the crucible to raise the bridge, then head over it, killing the Grunts which appear as you go. This will lead to an area with even more Grunts, Brutes, and Jackals, so be ready to fight them. There’s a plasma cannon at the end of this room, so spare some ammunition in a gun with more precise fire so that you can take it out, or just throw grenades at it if necessary. There’s plenty of structures to take cover behind as you finish off others in the area. After defeating all the enemies in this room, you’ll find a Banished audio log beside the door located behind the plasma cannon.

03 - Harbinger¶

The “Harbinger” Banished audio log can be found beneath the Tower during the Recovery main campaign mission, at its southeastern side as shown in the gif below.

04 - Demon¶

The “Demon” Banished audio log can be found in the mining machine at the Excavation Site. More specifically, you’ll find it opposite the main laser controls.

05 - Reformation¶

The “Reformation” Banished audio log can be found at the western gun battery during Pelican Down. You’ll find it in a structure located southeast of the gun.

06 - Home¶

The “Home” Banished audio log can be found at the northern gun battery during Pelican Down. You’ll find it in the ruins of a structure located southeast of the gun.

07 - Loyalties¶

The “Loyalties” Banished audio log can be found at the eastern gun battery during Pelican Down. You’ll find it in a structure just south of the gun.

08 - Victory¶

The “Victory” Banished audio log can be found in the room after the Advanced Training room during the House of Reckoning main campaign mission, just before the boss fight with Jega ’Rdomnai.

09 - Legacy¶

The “Legacy” Banished audio log can be found in the room where Echo 216 is being kept during the House of Reckoning main campaign mission, the same room where you fight Escharum. You’ll find it behind Echo 216 just to the left of him.

Outpost Intel¶

01 - Of Unrest and Unggoy¶

The “Of Unrest and Unggoy” Banished audio log can be found at the Armory of Reckoning outpost, behind an energy barrier which can be destroyed by shooting the cooling pylon to the left of it.

02 - A Warning¶

The “A Warning” Banished audio log can also be found at the Armory of Reckoning outpost, inside a structure at its southeastern side, which is initially accessed from the gravity lift after destroying an ammo printer.

03 - A Boon¶

The “A Boon” Banished audio log can be found at the Horn of Abolition outpost, at the back of the structure where you interacted with the terminal to expose the power cells.

04 - Our New Home¶

The “Our New Home” Banished audio log can be found at the Horn of Abolition outpost, inside the structure where you found the terminal to end the security lockdown.

05 - RE: Damnable Eyes¶

The “RE: Damnable Eyes” Banished audio log can be found at the Forge of Teash outpost, at the bottom of a ramp in the northeast of the outpost grounds.

06 - Secrets Below¶

The “Secrets Below” Banished audio log can be found at the Forge of Teash outpost, inside a structure in the northeast of the grounds.

07 - That Which Remains¶

The “That Which Remains” Banished audio log can be found at the Redoubt of Sundering outpost, within a structure at the centre of the redoubt, as shown in the gif below.

08 - Remain Vigilant¶

The “Remain Vigilant” Banished audio log can be found at the Redoubt of Sundering outpost, in the structure where you find the squad leader of the Marines.

09 - Unnatural Defenses¶

The “Unnatural Defenses” Banished audio log can be found at the Ransom Keep outpost, to the left of the entrance of a structure near the centre of the outpost grounds.

10 - The Dream of Atriox¶

The “The Dream of Atriox” Banished audio log can be found at the Ransom Keep outpost, leaning against a ruined tank transport.

11 - Slow and Steady¶

The “Slow and Steady” Banished audio log can be found at the Annex Ridge outpost, inside the main facility, just beyond the gravity lift.

12 - Whispers from the Past¶

The “Whispers from the Past” Banished audio log can be found at the Annex Ridge outpost, next to the second terminal, which raises the silo when used.

13 - The Great Spine¶

The “The Great Spine” Banished audio log can be found at the Riven Gate outpost, within a structure in the northeast of the outpost, the one you need to open the doors for.

14 - Encroaching Glory¶

The “Encroaching Glory” Banished audio log can be found at the Riven Gate outpost, in the structure where the power source can be found.

15 - In Your Honor¶

The “In Your Honor” Banished audio log can be found at Outpost Tremonius, in the grounds outside when you leave the main facility. Once you’ve taken out the enemies on the ground floor and on the ledge, look to the area directly beneath the landing platform outside. Just to the right of this you’ll find the log surrounded by some cargo, as shown in the gif below.
