Begin the Main Mission: Excavation Site
Description¶
One of the more experienced members of the Banished. Ik’Novus was part of the Covenant attack Jericho VII that decimated several human cities with unyielding force. The target is known to carry a modified Skewer.
Where to find Ik ’Novus¶
Once you begin the fifth mission Excavation Site in Halo Infinite you’ll gain access to the island to the north which has a few high value targets to deal with, such as Ik ’Novus. Here you can find Ik ’Novus northwest of The Tower.
How to Defeat Ik ’Novus¶
As you arrive you’ll find several enemies surrounding Ik ‘Novus which include Jackals, Grunts and Brutes. Deal with the Jackals and Brutes first as they are the most deadly to you, then finish off the Grunts before moving on Ik ‘Novus. You’ll notice he is a very strong shield, so you’ll want to work on stripping his shield with a Ravager from a distance first. Once the shield has been stripped, then switch your weapon over to something stronger, such as the BR75 to finish him off.
