Description¶
Distress call received from Foxhound Squad. Rendezvous at their position immediately to provide assistance.
Where to find the Foxhound Squad¶
Once you begin the fifth mission, Excavation Site, you’ll gain access to the second island which has multiple distress calls for you to deal with, such as the Foxhound Squad. Foxhound Squad can be found west of FOB Charlie.
How to Complete Foxhound Squad¶
As you arrive you’ll find the Marines which are a part of the Foxhound Squad trying to fend off the multiple Jackals, Grunts and Brutes. Here you’ll want to head to the hill overlooking the Foxhound Squad and take out the Jackals which are sniping from the hills opposite first, then move onto the Brutes before finally focusing on the Grunts. Brutes take a lot of bullets to take, so consider putting a few bullets into them and then using your Grappleshot to close the gap which will allow you to finish them off with a melee.
