Manor Lords

Fixing the Logs, Planks and Saw Mill issues

By
Craig Robinson

Manor Lord’s logistics is a key part of the game’s functionality, getting goods from a-to-b and keeping your citizen’s approval rating happy. However, for various reasons, it is easy for those logistics to break down, either through a supply chain failure or through bugs. One of the most impacted is the logs, planks and the sawmill issue. Here’s everything you need to know to fix those issues not working issues in Manor Lords.

Her’s are solutions for fixing the issues with logs, planks and the saw mill in Manor Lords.

Fixing Saw Planks & Logs not working

To solve the saw planks and logs not working, there are a few potential issues to diagnose:

  1. No family assigned to the Hitching Post
  2. Not enough Oxen at the Hitching Post
  3. Storage issues
  4. Bugged buildings

For the most part, heavy goods like logs and planks require the Ox livestock to transport items. If you do not have enough oxen available for your logistics, then you will hit supply chain issues. Make sure to build hitching posts, assign someone to work them if possible, and hire an extra ox for 20 regional wealth.

If this doesn’t solve the issue, then you may have one of two other problems, storage or bugs. Storage at the start of the game has issues due to only having one stockpile out in the cold. Make sure to build a storehouse from the logistics menu and then place it down and assign a worker to the storehouse. This can help with managing goods for your town and resolving storage issues in your specific industries. Upgrade them to a large storehouse to make even more storage much easier to manage.

If none of these issues resolves your supply of logs and planks, then you may have a bugged logging camp. Delete the logging camp and rebuild and it should free the building’s storage up for transportation later. You can then rebuild it using a spare population and go from there. It should fix any awkward supply issues going on with building production.

This about concludes the suggestion for any awkward bug you may encounter with storing livestock or goods and getting them to transport around.
