CI Games and Hexworks dropped a brand new Halloween event for players to participate in from October 26, lasting till November 2. Players who want some extra Umbral Scourings, alongside a new exclusive pumpkin mask unlock can solve a riddle to get it. To help you through the Lords of the Halloween event, we’ve put together instructions on how to get the pumpkin mask and complete the challenge with ease.

Here is how to complete the Halloween Event in Lords of the Fallen and get the Pumpkin Helmet.

Lords of the Fallen Halloween Event¶

To get the Pumpkin Helmet in Lords of the Fallen, players will need to solve five clues as part of the riddle in the patch notes. To make life easier, you need to visit the following five places. Be advised you need to be in the Umbral to find them all. Below you’ll find instructions for all five, and images to match each one’s location.

1. Skyrest Bridge Crypt: If you’ve not done so already, unlock the secret area of Skyrest Bridge by getting the Skyrest Bridge Key. Use the key on the large doors near to where you got the key, and access the area where the Tortured Prisoner is. In that area, go through the fence you can bypass by using the Umbral, follow the Umbral Bridge, and then to the right, you’ll find the Soul Flay object, near to where you acquire the Princess’ Sting.

2. Abandoned Redcopse: From the Windmill Vestige, run down the road back into the square, with several wooden cross-weapon wielders and a large tree. At the far end of the tree, you’ll find lots of destructible, which you can break down, and then find the soul flay object at the back.

3. Forsaken Fen: From the Fen Vestige, go through the shortcut next to the small water you need to wade through. Immediately enter the Umbral when you enter the village where the Shuja warrior guards, and climb the Umbral ladder. Follow it until you reach a burning pathway and find the soul flay object among the fire.

   If you don’t have the shortcut, follow the pathway along, going over the bridge, into the large watery area, enter the village, and climb the root where the Shuja warrior stands on top. This will take you to the shortcut that connects to the Vestige.

4. Fief of Winter’s Curse: The quickest way to get here is by going to the Vestige at the end of the area next to the Hallow Crow Beacon Boss. Run through the boss arena, down the ladders, and then through the beacon area and down the ladder again. When you leave the beacon’s tower, enter the Umbral and go through the once-flooded area on your left. Follow the pathway down, and you’ll find a Soul Flay door blocker you can open. Turn right and follow the tight pathway towards the soul flay objects, one being some loot and another being the Halloween event.

5. Pilgrim’s Perch: Go to the vestige at the bottom of the Manse of Hallowed Brothers called Pathway, and then take the elevator down to Pilgrim’s Perch, Get off the elevator and climb the ladder next to the two crossbowmen. When you’re up, be careful of the mage across the plank and the one hiding behind the boss to the right. When they are dead, enter Umbral and look for the Soul Flay object under the planks near the crossing.

How to get the Pumpkin Helmet in Lords of the Fallen¶

When you have all five soul flay objects, you must return to Skyrest Bridge, and get yourself the Hushed Saint Armor. We wore the Armor, Legs, and Arms of the Hushed Saint Armor just to be safe. From there, go to the Hamlet Vestige, on the border of the Forsaken Fen, and Fitzroy Gorge,m and head back to where you battled the Hushed Saint. You’ll find there is a small grove on the battlefield, with a pentagram of sorts. Head into the Umbral, and you should find a pumpkin in the middle. This will summon a boss, which is essentially a Crimson Spectre re-skinned.

The boss will do its usual: go into the ground and jump out at you, slow cleaving attacks, and rapid spin attacks. You’ll need to dodge backward on its slower attacks and dodge sideways when it makes its spinning dash attack. Rinse and repeat till you kill it. If you need assistance, bring Briostones, as you won’t be able to use your regular healing items since it works exactly like the max Dread boss enemy that chases you down.

When the boss is defeated, you will get the mask, some souls, and other lootable items. Congratulations, you will have completed the Lords of the Fallen Halloween event and got yourself the Pumpkin Helmet.
