Lords of the Fallen (2023)

10 Best Inferno Weapons - Lords of the Fallen

By
Matt Chard

There are hundreds of weapons to choose from in Lords of the Fallen, with most of them being average at worst. When creating a build in the game, you must decide what main offensive stat/stats you’re going to use such as Inferno. If you decided on Inferno, you’ll want to know what weapons are worth upgrading, so, we have made a list of the best 10 weapons that scale with Inferno. Note, that this list will only contain melee weapons.

Find out what weapon tops the best Inferno weapon list.

Best Inferno Weapons

Read below to find out what are the best Inferno weapons in the game. This list has tried to include a wide variety of weapon types including Grand Swords, Long Swords, Short Swords, Daggers, Flails, Polearms, and many more to give you more choice when selecting a weapon to upgrade.

10. Damarose’s Cleaver

Weapon Type Requirements Scaling (Max)
Grand Axe Strength: 14 Agility: 20 Inferno: 20 A

This weapon would be higher if you could get it a little earlier, but it’s still a strong weapon with a max scaling of A when fully upgraded. Max Attack Power will be 346 at +10 with 173 of the damage being Fire, and that’s not including any scaling from your own stats which will increase the bonus even more. Finally, you have three runes you can slot onto it which are: Agility/Inferno/Agility. You can find "Damarose's Cleaver" iconDamarose’s Cleaver by either completing her quest line or defeating her in Bramis Castle.

(1 of 2) Damarose’s Cleaver is a terrifying weapon which can only be obtained from the NPC herself.

9. Lord Axe

Weapon Type Requirements Scaling (Max)
Grand Axe Strength: 12 Inferno: 18 A-

Another very strong Grand Axe which would be higher if you could get it earlier. The only reason this is higher than Damarose’s Cleaver is due to it requires one less stat to equip it while also having lower stats in general, but Damarose’s will outperform this slightly due to its higher scaling. This weapon has a max scaling of A- at +10 with a maximum Attack Power of 371 with 169 damage being Fire without factoring in your stats which will increase it more. Finally, the three runes you can slot on this weapon are Inferno/Inferno/Inferno. You can find the Lord Axe near the end of Bramis Castle.

8. Blacksmith’s Pride

Weapon Type Requirements Scaling (Max)
Flail Agility: 16 Inferno: 16 A+

"Blacksmith's Pride" iconBlacksmith’s Pride is surprisingly a very strong weapon, especially when paired with another weapon such as the "Infernal Enchantress Flail" iconInfernal Enchantress Flail which sadly didn’t make the list. It has a max scaling of A+, its attacks are quick, and it does nice damage considering its speed and size. At +10, the weapon will reach 164 Attack Power with 82 damage being Fire without any stat additions. Finally, it can be equipped with the following runes: Inferno/Radiance/Any Rune. You can find the Blacksmith’s Pride in Upper Calrath via the elevator after defeating the boss in Sunless Skein.

Blacksmith’s Pride is best paired with another weapon such as the Infernal Enchantress Flail.

7. Rhogar’s Reach

Weapon Type Requirements Scaling (Max)
Polearm Strength: 20 Inferno: 20 A-

A strong weapon that has high stat requirements for both Strength and Inferno. It has a max scaling of A- when upgraded to +10 while having 276 Attack Power split directly down the middle with Fire. Furthermore, it can be equipped with the following three runes: Inferno/Strength/Inferno. This weapon shines when held in both hands while having the "Gravix" iconGravix rune equipped in the strength slot. You can find Rhogar’s Reach by purchasing it from Damarose when she moves to the Vestige of Betrayed Eliard during her quest.

6. Judge Cleric’s Corrupted Sword

Weapon Type Requirements Scaling (Max)
Long Sword Strength: 13 Agility: 13 Radiance: 20 Inferno: 20 A+

Some may argue that this weapon doesn’t belong here, and they would be right, somewhat, but we like this weapon, and it’s a strong one at that. It has a high scaling at max upgrade with an A+, and it sits at 373 Attack Power split between Physical, Holy, and Fire. This weapon will perform better if you’re using a Radiance/Inferno build as it scales to A+ on both of the respective stats. You can find Judge Cleric’s Corrupted Sword by purchasing it from Molhu in Skyrest after defeating the boss and giving it her remembrance.

Although the Conflagrant Seer Staff is called a staff, it’s actually a Polearm that has an S in Inferno.

5. Conflagrant Seer Staff

Weapon Type Requirements Scaling (Max)
Polearm Inferno: 21 S

This weapon sits so high due to its ridiculous scaling of S at max upgrade. The weapon has 211 Attack Power which is predominantly physical while sharing half of its damage with a bit of Fire and Wither. You will notice the damage of this weapon more when you begin to get your Inferno stat really high such as 50+. On top of that, you can equip all Inferno Runes into the weapon to increase its damage further. You can find the "Conflagrant Seer Staff" iconConflagrant Seer Staff by defeating Conflagrant Seers who roam the halls of Bramis Castle.

4. Lightreaper Daggers

Weapon Type Requirements Scaling (Max)
Daggers Agility: 11 Inferno: 11 A

If you’re an Inferno Dagger user, then these should be your weapons. They have an A scaling at max upgrade, they come as a pair, and they look awesome with their runic design. At a maximum upgrade level of +5, they have an Attack Power of 156 which is split between Physical and Fire. Finally, you can equip the following three runes: Inferno/Agility/Any Rune. We suggest equipping a rune that increases damage when dual-wielding. You can acquire this weapon by purchasing it from Molhu at Skyrest from the remembrance menu after defeating the Lightreaper in Upper Calrath.

The Lightreaper weapons come as a pair.

3. Lightreaper Swords

Weapon Type Requirements Scaling (Max)
Short Swords Agility: 13 Inferno: 13 A

These are similar to the daggers other than a few differences. These will deal slightly more damage with an Attack Power of 210 split between Physical and Fire, and a special attack that can be unlocked. Here is how you unlock the attack:

  • Finish the Dark Crusader Quest without defeating him before the Upper Calrath fight.
  • Upgrade both of the weapons to their maximum level of +5
  • Finally, equip both weapons and perform the multi-attack combo (DualSense-L1) + DualSense-R2 / Xbox-BumperLeft + Xbox-TriggerRight).

Finally, the runes you can equip change slightly which are: Inferno/Inferno/Any Rune. Like the daggers, you will get this from Molhu at Skyrest from the remembrance menu after defeating the Lightreaper in Upper Calrath.

2. Grinning Axe

Weapon Type Requirements Scaling (Max)
Axe Inferno: 17 S

The Grinning Axe is an extremely powerful weapon with a maximum scaling of S. Furthermore, it solely scales of Inferno which means you can focus all of your levels into it thus making it stronger. At max upgrade, it will reach 205 Attack Power which will be split equally between Physical, Fire, and Wither. Furthermore, it has 80 Ignite and 80 Burn status build-up. Finally, you’ll be able to place the following runes into it: Inferno/Inferno/Any Rune. Like most of the better Inferno weapons in the game, you’ll get it in Bramis Castle from a chest.

(1 of 2) Grinning Axe has an S scaling in Inferno making it a powerful weapon.

1. Fallen Lord’s Sword

Weapon Type Requirements Scaling (Max)
Grand Sword Inferno: 30 A+

Arguably one of the best pure inferno-scaling weapons in the game. Starting the scaling at B- with it being able to reach A+ when it’s fully upgraded, it’s a powerhouse of a sword. Add the 300 Ignite status build-up in addition to its high physical attack power and bonus fire damage, and you can see why this is sitting at number 1. You can obtain the "Fallen Lord's Sword" iconFallen Lord’s Sword from Lower Calrath, so it’s available relatively early on.
