For those who have journeyed through the realms of Mournstead, you can come across an altar that requires you to ‘Seek Scouring’. While the label is enigmatic at best, there are a few clues that take you to the source of this. This guide will teach you everything you need to know about the Seek Scouring in Lords of the Fallen.

The Seek Scouring prompt in LOTF is a signal to go and visit Molhu in Skyrest Bridge. Molhu will have an item for sale in her store that will cost 50 Umbral Scourings to purchase. You may have enough of the scourings at this stage already, but, if not, this requires a bit of a grind to get, so make sure to defeat as many bosses as possible, alongside soul flay any stigmas you come across. You can also buy a few from Molhu by spending Vigor. Make sure to visit as many missable areas and get the stigmas, and defeat as many bosses as you can. You can even find a cheese video to kill the Scarlet Shade and get another 5 Scourings if you want to.

Once you have your 50 Scourings, you can buy an item called a Clump of Scourings, which Molhu also sells. When you have the item, return to the Revelation Depths and visit the altar once guarded by Dervla. You can now use the item on the altar and remove the Seek Scouring prompt.

From here, you can now access a new area called the Mother’s Lull. This is a secret biome area that progresses in several stages. This area is related to the Exactur Dunmire quest and the truth he seeks. In addition, it also fast-tracks you down the Umbral Ending if you have not cleansed any beacons so far. It is something worth noting if you’re running various side quests or ending projects.
