Lords of the Fallen (2023)

Scourged Sister Delyth Boss Guide - Lords of the Fallen

By
Craig Robinson

The Scourged Sister Delyth is one of the first mini-boss battles you face in Lords of the Fallen. This fervent flail lady will want to jump, smash, dash, and blow tornadoes at you for good measure. Luckily for you, the area is built to cheese some of her tactics. So, here’s a boss guide to Scourge Sister Delyth, offering tips on how to beat the boss.

Use the terrain to your advantage to better handle her flail attacks, ranged moves and jumps. Just don’t get stuck in a wall or something and die.

Scourged Sister Delyth Boss Guide in Lords of the Fallen

  • Combos: The boss has a few light attack combos to be weary of. The first is her main one, where she swings her attack, and within a second, increases her attack speed for another few short-range front attacks. You’ll be very much out of the range if you roll outwards and backward. You can also roll around her a few times so she misses the attack, and you can easily retaliate.

  • Radiance Tornadoes: The bless empowers her weapon with Radiance powers. When she does this, she can flail together a tornado. You can either avoid this by rolling at the right time or using the pillars where the praying lunatics are to avoid the tactic safely.

  • Leap Attack: When her weapon is made holy, she can jump toward you. You will need to either Parry or roll out of the way at the last moment to avoid any lock-on jump extensions she may do to hurt you. It takes about 1.5 seconds for her to land, and it is normally telegraphed by her crouching down and screaming “REHHHHHHH”.

  • Jump Attack: Similar to the above move, she does the same jump animation, albeit after an attack with her flail. This takes about one second to land, as you’ll typically be much closer to her when she makes the attack, followed by the jump slam.

  • Radiance Blast: The boss empowers her flail and then looks to bonk her bell head. When she does this, a short-range radiance blast emits from her body. You need to be out of range and can dodge the yellow wave to avoid damage if you happen to be caught in close range when it happens.

Other than that, the boss is fairly straightforward, with her being one of the earliest mini-bosses in the game. It should only take a few tries before you get her locked down and defeated.
