One of the most popular features when a new game comes out, is using amiibos to unlock extra features. Depending on what games you are playing, this can be anything from saving your character data to unlocking exclusive costumes. Can You Use amiibos in Fire Emblem Engage¶

Yes, you can use all of the Fire Emblem brand amiibos in the game. In addition, it is stated that other amiibos will be compatible but won’t give out items like the ones from the franchise.

How to Use amiibos in Fire Emblem Engage¶

To use amiibos in Fire Emblem Engage, you need to unlock Somniel. Once there, head to the amiibo Gazebo, where you can open up a menu that lets you select from rewards or scan a new amiibo. To use an amiibo, simply tap the bottom of it to the Nintendo Switch Logo on your left Joy-Con or the right stick on your right Joy-Con.

What Do You Get From Using amiibos in Fire Emblem Engage¶

When you tap a Fire Emblem amiibo on your Nintendo Switch, you will unlock a costume and song. These are all related to the games that the amiibo characters come from. If you tap something like a Link amiibo, then you will get free items added to your game.
