How to Find the Silver Card in Fire Emblem Engage

By
Nathan Garvin

Merchants have to make money, even during war, and between purchasing and refining weapons and making donations you may find yourself low on gold. You can try to hunt down [Gold Corrupted[(https://www.gamerguides.com/fire-emblem-engage/guide/walkthrough/gameplay/how-to-farm-gold-and-silver-corrupted-in-fire-emblem-engage) during Skirmishes and you can sell items picked up during battles (story battles, Skirmishes and Paralogues), but between that and royal largesse, money is fairly scarce in Fire Emblem Engage. Given that, you may wish to mitigate your expenses as a means to conserve your precious gold, and the Silver Card is a means by which you can do so. This page will cover where to find the Silver Card and how to obtain it.

(1 of 2) To reach the Silver Card, you’ll need to circle around the Dragon Temple in Tiki’s Paralogue mission.

Where to Find the Silver Card in Fire Emblem Engage

You can find the Silver Card during "Tiki" iconTiki’s Paralogue mission in the Dragon Temple, which requires you to have purchased the Expansion "Pass" iconPass. Assuming you purchased and downloaded the Expansion Pass, you must also complete the story battle in Chapter 6 (Mountain Settlement), after which you’ll unlock the Paralogue: Bandit’s Hideout to the southwest, and beyond that another path will extend south through the sea. Sail south to reach the islands where the Divine Paralogues are set, the first of which, the Dragon Temple, is your destination.

The Divine Paralogue: Dragon Temple is where you’ll find Emblem Tiki and the numerous Fabrications she conjures to challenge you. You’ll need to defeat Tiki to complete this mission and earn Tiki’s services, which is covered in detail on the page How to Get the Tiki Emblem - Dragon Temple Walkthrough, but you’ll also need to complete this mission to keep any loot you pick up, including the Silver Card.

How to Get the Silver Card in Fire Emblem Engage

If you look north of the dragon temple you’ll find a small pond, next to which is a sparkling map tile. If you end a character’s turn on this spot, they’ll pick up the Silver Card. This isn’t terribly difficult, but it can be fairly time consuming, as the only way to reach the Silver Card is to make your way south and east across the southern edge of the temple, then heading north along the eastern side of the temple before turning west when you reach the northern edge of the temple.

You’ll have to fight your way through numerous Fabrications as you make this trek, including two "Martial Monk" iconMartial Monks on the southwestern and southeastern edges of the temple, both of which are armed with "Silence" iconSilence Staves, but are otherwise little more than nuisances. A more formidable threat guards the entrance of the temple - a Phantom Wyvern. This foe’s Freezing Breath is a fairly damaging ranged attack that ignores DEF and RES, making it hard to mitigate the damage output of these monsters by any means besides having a sufficiently high AVO.

Endure these foes as you make your way to the temple’s entrance, then send one of your faster characters around to the northern end of the temple to reach the sparkling tile. This will take several turns, and you do need to watch your movements, as enemy phantom wyverns inside the temple can attack you through the walls if you’re not careful. Once you make it to the sparkling spot, just stand on it and end that character’s turn to obtain the Silver Card, which will reduce the prices of items sold at the Armory and Item Shop by 30%. This will really save you some money when you start buying Master Seals and Second Seals, not to mention the weapons you’ll want to keep your ever-expanding roster armed.

What Happens if You Miss the Silver Card in Fire Emblem Engage?

If you neglect to pick up the Silver Card during Tiki’s Paralogue, never fear! Once the aforementioned battle is cleared, it will randomly host skirmish battles like any other map node. If you fight a skirmish battle on the Dragon Temple node and did not previously claim the Silver Card, the glowing motes of light near the pond north of the temple will be there during the skirmish battle. Of course, skirmish enemies are less passive than the foes during Tiki’s Paralogue, but provided you can reach the shimmering tile before the enemies kill you or are killed by you, you’ll be able to claim the Silver Card.
