How To Recruit Veyle In Fire Emblem Engage

By
Jacob Woodward

In Fire Emblem Engage, it’s always nice to add more supports to your arsenal. This is because as you advance, you’ll not only be coming up against increasingly robust opposition, but also more complex maps, needing more unit versatility.

While you’ll gain more characters to add to your party as you complete Chapters, there are also missable supports, as well as some that you need to perform a specific action to do recruit. "Veyle" iconVeyle is a support that many players are after, and this guide will help you learn all the steps for how to recruit her.

Fire Emblem Engage Veyle: How to get

Selecting Veyle In !Fire Emblem Engage

Veyle is a character that is brand new to the Fire Emblem series. Thanks to that, and her mysterious nature, she’s becoming one of the most requested characters to recruit in the game.

If you’re playing through the Engage, you may have encountered Veyle already. This is because she appears at the end of Chapter 4, once you complete the battle, saving "Alear" iconAlear from The Corrupted. However, you cannot recruit her at this point, leaving most a bit baffled as to why, considering the recruitment trend so far.

Instead, you’ll have to play a bunch more of Fire Emblem Engage. This is because you will not have the chance to add Veyle to your party until Chapter 22. Yes, you read that right, you’re going to have to play an additional 18 more Chapters until Veyle can be yours. During those additional Chapters, you will bump into her again but in enemy form.

Veyle talking in !Fire Emblem Engage

Once you do reach Chapter 22, thankfully encouraging Veyle to join you is a pretty simple task. All you have to do is start the battle sequence and a conversation between Alear and Veyle will occur. After this, she will join your party and you will be allowed to use her strengths at will.

Using her as a "Thief" iconThief could be an ideal class to add to your party considering her S proficiency in this area. However, this isn’t unlocked until you get your hands on a Second Seal so keep that in mind. On the flip side, her "Fell Child" iconFell Child class is unique so could always just stick to that.
