Chapter 8 - The Kingdom of Might

By
Jessica Dillon

A new way of fighting is introduced in Chapter 8 of Fire Emblem Engage. In this chapter, you will use a ballista to help control and quickly take out enemies. This is a new tactic in the game that can be a bit confusing at first. The guide below is here to help you easily make your way through Chapter 8 of Fire Emblem Engae without losing any party members.

How to Reach The Kingdom of Might

To reach this chapter, you simply need to complete Chapter 7, Dark Emblem.

Chapter 8 - The Kingdom of Might Walkthrough

This is a pretty easy stage to overcome when you know the formula. Directly in front of your party is a ballista. The ballista can only be activated by bow users, so you will want to place "Etie" iconEtie or "Alcryst" iconAlcryst on it right away. You will use the ballista to take down any flying enemies or stragglers if there are no flying enemies within range.

While doing this, you will wipe out the rest of the soldiers and slowly move your party down. Remember that you have to keep any units from reaching the door. Luckily, once you have thinned things out, leaving an archer on the ballista can do this just fine. You will also need to deal with "Zelkov" iconZelkov, who’s on the right, and "Kagetsu" iconKagetsu, who will attack you from the left.

Once things are under control, move down to "Ivy" iconIvy. She is weak to bows, so use your remaining archer to quickly deplete her first health bar. You can also lure Ivy down to the ballista to help take her out more easily.
