Where to get the Alkonost Mount

You’ll need to obtain three Resplendent Feathers from the Excitatron 6000.

The Alkonost Mount can be obtained two ways. The first option is by completing Timeworn Kumbhiraskin Treasure Maps to receive Resplendent Feathers. Interact with the map, which’ll give you a hint on where you can find the treasure as well as a battle when you find the correct spot. If you’re lucky enough, one of the coffers can be a gateway to the Excitatron 6000. You can progress by opening a treasure coffer in each room of the five rooms, which will trigger a trap that’ll spawn monsters. When you’re in a room, there is a chance that more monsters will appear which can result in extra chests. Once the treasure coffer has been opened, you’ll be given a key to open one of two locked doors. One door will progress to the next room, whilst the other will remove you from the area. If you are lucky, some arrows will point towards the correct door.

By progressing through the five rooms, you’ll have a chance to get a feather at the end. You’ll need to obtain three feathers, and once you have them, you can trade them to the NPC ‘Nesvaaz’ in Radz-at-Han who can be found at the coordinates X:10.6 and Y:10.1. Navigate through the menu until you find the Alkonost Whistle and trade the three feathers for it. The other option is by purchasing it from the market board as the whistle is tradable. Expect this method to be expensive though as it has just been released.

Best way to get Timeworn Kumbhiraskin Treasure Maps

As you need the treasure maps to obtain the feathers, here is the best way to get them. Other than purchasing them from the market board, you can gather them by using any level 90 gatherer and heading to the final Endwalker zone, Ultima Thule or by going to Loch Seld, Gyr Abania and using the level 90 spearfishing nodes. When gathering a lvl 90 nodes, use the Luck of the Pioneer skill to reveal the treasure map, otherwise you’ll have to guess what slot it’s in. Note, you can only obtain one map per gatherer each day, although you can purchase as many as you can afford.
