Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker

Where To Find Sugarcane

By
Shane Williams

Patch 6.2 saw the addition of the Island Sanctuary which is an island that player’s can use to craft, farm and escape from the busy Warrior of Light lifestyle. This page will provide you with the necessary steps to finding Island Sugarcane.

Sugarcane Trees can be found to the east of Gentle Slope

Craft a Islekeep’s Copper Scythe

Once you’ve gained access to your own private island you’ll need to progress through the Sanctuary Ranks until you reach Rank 6, then you’ll need to craft yourself a Islekeep’s Copper Scythe in order to obtain Island Sugarcane. However, you’ll need to get your hands on 3 Island Logs, 3 Island Clay and 4 Island Copper Ore to craft it. Below you’ll find the locations of these resources:

Where To Find Island Logs

You can gather Island Logs by interacting with Tualong and Mahogany Trees which are scattered between the Pristine Pond and the Eastward Stream.

Where To Find Island Copper Ore

You can gather Copper Ore by mining Bluish Rocks which can be found between the Gentle Slope and Pirate Bay, so head to [X:17.0, Y:14.6]. However, you’ll need to make sure you have crafted the Islekeeps Stone Hammer.

(1 of 2) Head to the east of Gentle Slope

Head to the east of Gentle Slope (left), and chop down these Sugarcane Trees to obtain Sugarcane! (right)

Where To Find Island Clay

You can gather Clay by mining the Mound of Dirt which can be found scattered along the Eastward Stream, so head to [X:22.1, Y:25.7]. However, you’ll need to make sure you have crafted the Islekeep’s Shovel.

All Island Sugarcane Locations

After you’ve crafted the Islekeep’s Copper Scythe you’ll finally be able to venture out in The Wilds and get your hands on some Island Sugarcane. These can be obtained by chopping down Sugarcane Trees which can only be found in one location and that’s to the East of Gentle Slope, so head to [X:17.2, Y:18.0].

If you are looking to farm up a large amount of Sugarcane, then you’ll want to gather all the nodes, then continue mining elsewhere and eventually the Sugarcane will begin to respawn.
