There are plenty of allies to gather in Baldur’s Gate 3’s third act, offering players many satisfying endings to the game. As you progress through the Second and Third Acts, the various storylines you’ve embarked upon can have conclusions that will play a part in the fight to come. Many of these characters will either serve you directly in battle or provide buffs to help your allies in combat. Below is a table showcasing all the possible allies you can get as part of the Gather your allies quest. All of these can feature in the final fight, helping you in one way or another. Note that is impossible to get all of the allies in the game, thanks to many being choices. Note that you will encounter spoilers on this page due to the nature of quest outcomes and other chain of events. It’s something to keep in mind.

Ally How To Get Rewards
Arabella Rescue Arabella from Kargha in Act 1, and allow the Tieflings to survive the Goblin attacks. From there, find Arabella’s parents in the "House of Healing" iconHouse of Healing in Act 2, and then find her again in the Sewers of Act 3. Grants supportive spells to aid you.
Florrick Rescue Florrick from the burning mansion in Act 1, and then rescue her from the Wyrmgate prison in Act 3. Call Forth Allies, creating Flaming Fist allies.
Halsin Rescue Halsin in Act 1, let the "Druid Grove" iconDruid Grove survive, and then complete his quest in Act 2 to get him as an ally. +1 to all Ability scores and +2 to movement.
Isobel Ensure Isobel survives Act 2, meaning you can avoid killing her as the Durge or letting the Absolutists attacking Last Lights Inn win. If her body, alive or dead, goes to Moonrise, things happen that stop her from becoming an ally. You then need to defeat Lorroaken in Act 3 Spell that heals 14-84 HP for up to six allies.
Lorroaken Give the Nightsong over to Lorroaken at the top of the Sorcerer’s Sundries. If you killed the Nightsong in Act 2, you tell him you killed her, and he breaks down and cries If you refuse, you fight him. Summons elementals to fight for you.
Mizora Keep Wyll in your party by not attacking the Tieflings and "Druid Grove" iconDruid Grove in Act 1. From there, continue through his storyline with Mizora, then do the quests related to her in Acts 2 and 3. Also, make sure that Wyll remains in his deal with Mizora to ensure she can be used as an ally. Call Forth Ally Spell to do damage and disintegrate enemies.
Mol Allow the Tieflings to survive Act 1, and then find Mol in the Guilhal in Act 3. She will tell you how she signed a deal with Raphael. You can steal her contract in the House of Hope. But, if you kill Raphael before speaking to her, she gets upset that you ruined her future. If you kill Raphael while in the House of Hope and you know about her contract, then you need to lie about killing Raphael. Grants Rays of "Fire" iconFire, and reduces all fire damage by 5.
Nightsong Free the Nightsong at the end of the "Gauntlet of Shar" iconGauntlet of Shar and then defend her against Lorroaken. Call Forth Allies, summon Dame Aylin, the Paladin Nightsong to join you in battle.
Nine-Fingers Help The Guild get the money back by helping them with the "Counting House" iconCounting House quest. Summons Rogues and Rangers to aid you in battle.
Orpheus Free Orpheus using the "Orphic Hammer" iconOrphic Hammer, which you get from the House of Hope, or taking Raphael’s Deal. Freeing Orpheus makes the Emperor fight for the Netherbrain. Active Monk companion in the fight, with strong spells like Dome of Protection you can control.
Owlbear Rescue the Owlbear in Act 1, which is normally done so by either killing the mother, or long resting after discovering the Absolutists, and the Cub goes to the "Goblin Camp" iconGoblin Camp. Win the mini-game and let it go to your camp. Feed it and heal it when it comes to the Camp, and it will become a camp NPC. When you get to Act 3, Dammon can forge armor for it, presuming Dammon survives Act 1 and Act 2, depending on your choices. Summon Owlbear while in combat you gain a combat ally.
Ravenguard Rescue Duke Ravenguard from the Iron Throne, which is a place you visit as part of the Steel Watch Foundry questline. This is a long quest chain called Rescue the Grand Duke. Grants 30 Temporary HP buff.
Rolan Allow the Tieflings to be saved in Act 1, and then rescue Rolan in Act 2 from the Shadows near the dock of "Moonrise Towers" iconMoonrise Towers. In Act 3, allow Rolan to survive and defend Nightsong. Rolan will cast a Firestorm skill, dropping a one-time use spell on the battlefield.
Sarevok As the Dark Urge, visit the Murder Tribunal and defeat Orin. Or, in any playthrough, offer a sacrifice to the Bhaalists and become a Master Assassin of Bhaal. After defeating Orin, avoid returning to Sarevok, as he will turn against you as part of the Bhaal spawn battles religious act. Avoiding him after defeating Orin will allow him to be present in the Allies scene and grant you a buff. Grants you +2 to critical hit rolls, and you can cast Stunning Gaze.
"Shadowheart" iconShadowheart Allow "Shadowheart" iconShadowheart to kill the Nightsong in Act 2, then visit the Shar temple in Act 3, and have "Shadowheart" iconShadowheart take over the temple, killing Viconia. Summons Shar worshipers that fight as Rogues and spear users.
Strange Ox Smuggle the Strange Ox into the Lower City in Act 3. Call Forth Allies.
The Emperor Allow the Emperor to kill Orpheus and then gain him as an active companion. Becomes an active companion with all mind flayer powers unlocked to control in combat.
The Gnomes Starts off with the gnome at the windmill in Act 1, and requires you to rescue Wulbren in Act 2 from the "Moonrise Towers" iconMoonrise Towers prison, and survive the Act during the Last "Light" iconLights Inn battle. In Act 3, players can find the gnomes as part of the Steel Watch Foundry to get them as an ally. You can get two, depending on your choices. Barcus is an ally if you advocate Barcus as a leader. You can also get Wulbren if you side with Wulbren with the Gondions defeated. Call Forth Allies
The Gur Complete "Astarion" iconAstarion’s personal storyline, refuse the allure, and free captive spawn. Doing so awards you the Gur, the folk you meet at the "Rivington" iconRivington Refugee camp containing rangers and fighters.
The Hag Players can find The Hag again as part of the Save Vanra and Hag Survivors questline. If you speak to Captain Grizzly, and take up her offer of assassinating Lora, then you can get The Hag as an ally. Allows you to turn up to 5 allies invisible, thank you, u/Sarcasteik.
The Harpers Recruit Jaheira in Act 2, and follow Jaheira’s questline. Also, ensure Isobel survives Act 2, as Jaheira goes neutral after that happens, rather than an ally. You will also need to rescue Minsc in Act 3, meaning you must fight against the Zhentarim and ally with The Guild. Summon elite archers to fight for you.
Valeria Complete the Investigate the Murders questline, and rescue Valeria from the Murder Tribunal, defeating Sarverok and the Bhaalists in the process. Call Forth Allies, summons Great Weapon Mastery fighters to join you in battle from the City Watch.
Vampire "Astarion" iconAstarion Allow "Astarion" iconAstarion to become a vampire in his personal storyline in Act 3 by defeating Cazador. Summon shadows, skeletons, ghast, shadow mastiff and a werewolf to fight for you.
Viconia Visit the Shar temple in Act 3, and hand over "Shadowheart" iconShadowheart if you saved Nightsong. Summons a mixture of Shar worshippers, ranging from Rogues to spear fighters.
Volo Start by speaking to Volo in the "Druid Grove" iconDruid Grove in Act 1, then rescue him from the "Goblin Camp" iconGoblin Camp / "Shattered Sanctum" iconShattered Sanctum. In Act 3, you will find him near the Steel Forge Foundry, needing rescuing once again. +2 to attack rolls, saving throws, and Ability Checks.
Voss Visit the Githyanki Creche in Act 1, and then gain access to the "Orphic Hammer" iconOrphic Hammer, and speak to him in the Sewers. From there, use the "Orphic Hammer" iconOrphic Hammer to free Orpheus in the Astral Plain. Summons Voss’ dragon to breathe fire over a target area.
Yurgir Deal with Yurgir in any way you want in Act 2, then roll a 30 check in the House of Hope to get him to join your team as you fight Raphael. If he survives the fight, you can ask him to help you fight again in the coming battle against the Absolute. Summons Yurgir to join you in battle. Expect more invisibility potion swigs and random attacks as the battle continues.
Zevlor Save the Refugee in Act 1, then rescue Zevlor from his pod in Act 2. Find him again in Act 3 to lock him in. You can read more about the Rescue the Tieflings quest here. Summon Hellider Tieflings to join you in battle.
Zhentarim Side with the Zhentarim, which you can begin doing from Act 1 with the Zhentarim Hideout. In Act 3, complete the quest Aid The Underduke, where you side with them / Roah to gain them as an ally, defeating Nine Finger in the process. To do this, Roah must survive the "Shattered Sanctum" iconShattered Sanctum in Act 1 and "Moonrise Towers" iconMoonrise Towers in Act 2. Summons Zhentarim Allies, similar to The Guild summons.

This concludes the Gather Your Allies Quest in Baldur’s Gate 3. You now know what allies you can get in the final fight of Baldur’s Gate 3 as you enter the upper city, engage in various content, and move into the fight against the Elder Brain.
