How to Unlock Leif’s Shop on Harv’s Island¶
If you haven’t seen it already, head over to our guide on how to unlock Leif’s Shop on Harv’s Island. You need 100,000 Bells to donate to the Lloid occupying his lot.
Once you have Leif on Harv’s Island, he’ll sell much of the same stuff he usually does when he visits your island with his flower shop. You can also buy shrubs from him and sell weeds to him like you could before.
You can buy crops from Leif, either 1 or 5 at a time.
How to buy Farming Seeds and Crops from Leif¶
If you’re looking to grow a bunch of vegetables and other crops, then building Leif’s shop first is a great way to get a head start! Whilst you can buy crops from him during his visits to your island, you’ll be able to buy more variety from his shop on Harv’s Island. And you could go see him everyday!
You can buy a variety of vegetables and crops from Leif that can then be used to make tasty recipes - another addition in the Version 2.0 update.

Leif’s Weeding Service¶
If, like many other people, you’ve been a bit neglectful your island in the past year, then you may be pleased to hear that Leif has a solution to your weed problem. If your island is weedy enough, you can hire Leif to clear away all the weeds - every single one of them! This procedure is not for everyone, as Leif doesn’t know the difference between your unwanted weeds and the weeds you may have deliberately placed as decoration.
It also costs an eyewatering 100,000 Bells! And unless your island is weedy enough, Leif won’t actually let you pay for this service - it really is just for the weediest of islands! You do get to keep the weeds too though, and you’ll find them in the recycling bin in the town hall. You could then sell the weeds to Leif to help earn back some of the money spent on the service. It also gets done by the end of the day!
Leif could instantly clean up your island for the fee of 100,000 Bells.
