How to Unlock Polishing¶
You’ll unlock polishing fairly early on, whilst you’re decorating your 4th vacation home. When you’re about to finish up the decorating, Niko will come in and tell you about Wardell’s secret polishing technique.
First, you’ll need to press in the L bumber to don your cleaning clothes. Then walk up to the item you want to polish and press A. The longer you hold A, the sparklier the item but you can stop pressing A at any time to achieve the desired sparkliness.

Extra Polishing Options¶
After you’ve become a veteran of designing vacation homes, Niko will offer you some special polishing effects! We unlocked the special polishing effects when we were on our 12th vacation home and also designed the School facility. Below you’ll find all of the polishing effects that you now have in your arsenal!
