Want an Even Bigger House?¶
If you followed the advice of this walkthrough, then you’ve been donating a chunk of money each day towards your 3rd house loan. If you’ve been adding around 50,000 Bells per day, then you should be close to your goal!
If you haven’t been putting away that much per day, then you might still have a bit to go. To earn money fast, you’ll want to do a few of the things listed here.
Fruit Trees¶
By now, you might also have a fair few new non-native fruit trees that you’ve grown on your island. This is one of the easier forms of income in the early game, as each non-native fruit piece is sold for 500 bells! That’s 1,500 each tree (or 1,000 for a palm tree)! You should have at least 3 non-native fruit trees from growing trees from the fruit your mom sent to you. And if you’ve been to new islands, then hopefully you’ve been lucky enough to come across some new fruit types, including coconuts!
That pear tree is worth 1,500 bells on this island!
Pay Off Your Loan¶
Once you have the money, head over to Resident Services and interact with the Nookstop. After you’ve paid the loan through the Nookstop ABD service, speak to Tom Nook who will once again congratulate you and then offer to expand your home again! This time he offers to add a whole new room onto your house! This will cost you 348,000 Bells, which again, is a larger fee than before. Your home will be ready tomorrow, and you’ll have a whole new room to decorate!
