Where to Find Brewster in ACNH

To unlock Brewster, you’ll first have to go and speak with Blathers at the Museum. When you arrive, you’ll find him deep in thought. Speak to him, and he’ll tell you of his plans to open a Café to attract more visitors to the Museum. He’ll then mention his friend Brewster, who has previously owned a Café.

Speak to Blathers and he’ll reveal his plans to open a Café (left), and he needs your help to find the new Barista, Brewster! (right)

Unfortunately, Brewster is missing! Blathers suggests that Brewster may be on the look out for Gyroids, especially on islands that Kapp’n visits on his boat tours! Blathers will also give you a picture of Brewster so you can see what he looks like before embarking on your search (he’s a green pigeon with glasses).

Kapp’n’s Boat Tour

Pay 1,000 Nook Miles to go on a Boat Tour with Kapp’n.

If you haven’t used up your Boat Tour for the day, then you should head over to your pier and pay the 1,000 Nook Miles for a boat tour to a mysterious island! If you have already taken your boat trip for the day, you’ll have to wait until tomorrow to begin your search for Brewster.

When you arrive on the island, you’ll need to have a quick scout around and keep an eye out for Brewster the Barista Pigeon. When you find him, you’ll need to tell him that Blathers sent you and that he’s looking to open up a Museum Café. Brewster is not a pigeon of many words but will agree to the proposal!

Brewster can be found searching for Gyroids on a mysterious island Kapp’n also happens to know the location of.

He’ll also give you a Gyroid fragment and explain to you how you can grow your own Gyroids! To grow a Gyroid, simply bury a Gyroid fragment in the ground and water it, then wait a day and dig it back up. There are lots of different gyroids and each one makes a different sound - they’re all super cute too! For more information, head over to our page all about Gyroids!

(1 of 3) First, you’ll need to bury and water a Gyroid Fragment.

After you’ve searched the mysterious island and collected any resources you may want to take home, return to Kapp’n and ask him to take you back to your island. When you return, head back to the Museum and tell Blathers that you found Brewster and that he is willing to open up Café at the Museum.

He will then announce that he will need to close the Museum tomorrow to construct the Café. But the day after that (so in two days time), the Café will be open and ready to visit! So before the day is out, make sure to donate any new bugs, insects or fossils you may have because you won’t be able to do so until the Museum is reopened.

The Museum will be closed for a day to prepare for the Cafe.
