The Even More Pest Control request can be acquired from a blue note during Chapter 14 of the main story in the Resident Evil 4 Remake. You can access this blue note after going through the Waste Disposal area, but you’ll need to backtrack to find the rats there once you have it. We’ll show you where to find all 4 of the rats on this page.
Where to Find the Rats in the Even More Pest Control Request - Chapter 14 RE4 Remake¶
As mentioned above, the blue note can be found near the Merchant after going through the Waste Disposal area during Chapter 14. Once you have it, you’ll need to backtrack to find the rats in this same area. You can see the general location of each rat on the map below, but read on for more detailed descriptions of where to find them.

Rat 1 Location¶
Head west from the Merchant and then into Waste Disposal to the north again. Just as you enter the main area, you should already be able to hear a rat nearby. Look down to your left and you should see one running around that area. The rat may also run to the area along the path to the south from here, so look there if necessary.
The first rat can be found to your left just as you enter Waste Disposal.
Rat 2 Location¶
To reach the other rats, you need to ash Ashley to raise the bridge using the nearby wheel again. She will have to stay here while you cross over and hunt the other rats. Do this and then cross the bridge to find the second rat directly opposite. You may even be able to see this rat from the other side of the bridge, as in the screenshot below.

Rat 3 Location¶
To reach the third rat, you’ll need to enter through the doorway to the north from the second rat, then follow the path around until you reach the long bridge which leads to the area where you previously fought a Regenerador. After crossing this, turn right and then look to your left to see the rat in this area.
Cross the longer bridge after taking the path around to the left of the first bridge to find the third rat.
Rat 4 Location¶
The fourth rat can be found in the same general area as the third, as they generally scuffle around the same place. Keep looking at the ground in this area to find it, and listen out for the noises it makes to help you locate it.
