Resident Evil 4 Remake brings a whole host of new features to an already excellent game. The addition of Blue Request Notes are one such feature and completing them will reward you with useful items and other resources. This page focuses on the first request that you will come across in Chapter 4, Egg Hunt.

How to Complete the Egg Hunt Request - Golden Chicken Egg Location¶
Once you reach Chapter 4, you’ll find that it’s changed a fair bit from the original Resident Evil 4. This time around you have full access to the lake and the surrounding areas using the boat you acquired at the end of Chapter 3. With this comes lots of new requests and other hunts for Treasures before you resume the search for Ashley.

You’ll begin the Chapter in a cave known as the Mural Cave Shrine (to the west of you), head through it and before you reach the next dock there, you’ll find the next Blue Request Note on the wall to the left of the dock. Your task this time is to track down a Golden Egg and sell it to the Merchant, a task that harrows back to a popular pastime of the original Resident Evil 4.
For those of you who played the original Resident Evil 4 may remember that baiting Chickens into laying Golden Eggs was an effective way of farming money. Thankfully, for this task, you won’t have to go through all of that and there is a Golden Egg nearby you can go and collect without much hassle.

Return to the boat and if you look on your map, you’ll see to the east a small area that you can dock at. Head over there on the boat and get off to discover that it is in fact a chicken farm, what luck! Head over to the eastern edge of this chicken farm to spot a single Gold Chicken Egg waiting for you. Pocket it, collect the Velvet Blue and other Chicken Eggs and then return to the boat.
Go over to the nearest Merchant and sell him the Golden Egg, not only is this worth a lot of money but you’ll also complete the Request when you exit and reenter the shop!
