Chapter 7 Treasure Location Guide in Resident Evil 4 Remake

By
Matt Chard

At the start of Chapter 7 in Resident Evil 4 Remake, you can purchase the Treasure Map from the Merchant for 3 Spinels who is in the first door to the right. This will display all the treasure locations on the map as well as give you a small progression counter in the bottom right corner of the map. Although this will show you their general location, it won’t show you how to get them. Read below how to get all seven treasures in Chapter 7.

Treasure: 1 - Vintage Compass

You can start Chapter 7 with a bang. The Vintage Compass can be found directly behind the Merchant. Exit the room, and head to the back of the building by going right, and there’ll be a gap in the wall with a treasure chest at the back. This cannot be inlaid with any jewels, and can be sold for 8,000 ptas.

Treasure: 2 - Elegant Bangle

The Elegant Bangle can be acquired in the next section. Progress the story until you hit the counterweight to raise the cannon, and exit the room. Follow the linear path, and climb the ladder then drop to the area to the right. In this small area will three breakable barrels, and a door you can unlock, with the treasure chest to the left of it, at the back. There is also a Blue Medallion to the left of the chest.

If you’re having trouble getting to it due to the catapults which Ashley WILL get hit by. You can complete the section, and loot to your heart’s content with no distractions. The Elegant Bangle can be sold for 5,000 ptas, but it can be inlaid with two circular gems to increase its value.

Treasure: 3 - Elegant Perfume Bottle

You can find the next treasure, the Elegant Perfume Bottle in the Audience Chamber. After the scene with Ramona, defeat the nearby enemies, and head towards the double doors at the back. Just before you reach there, you’ll find a spot where you can boost Ashley up to your left where she’ll open the gate. Head through the gate, and follow the path right where you’ll find the treasure chest.

Treasure: 4 - Ruby

In the same room, go back on yourself where you went through the gate, and you may have noticed a gap in the wall. If you didn’t, it’s opposite the now-opened gate that Ashley just opened. Squeeze through the gap and immediately turn left, and look up. There will be a silver container swinging nonchalantly that contains a Ruby. Shoot it down, and collect the treasure.

Treasure: 5 - Spinel

Heading in the opposite direction from the previous treasure will lead you to the dungeons. Progress through this drab place until you pick up the Dungeon Key. As you attempt to leave, you’ll drop through the floorboards. This sets up a sequence where you’ll need to escape a Garrador. These enemies are blind, so as long as you stay crouched, and don’t make any noise, you can ignore them.

Eventually you’ll end up in a room that needs to be opened using the nearby crank. Naturally this makes noise, and the Garrodor will hear you. If it’s not in the room, be brave, and hold down the DualSense-ButtonCross (Xbox-ButtonA) button, and open the door. Head through the door, and climb the ladder to the right into the storage room. The Spinel will be on the cabinet as you turn the corner. These can be used to trade goods with the Merchant. To the right of the treasure, you can find the Clockwork Castellan on the top shelf to the right of it.

Treasure: 6 - Gold Bangle

In the next room you’ll be in the Treasury. You’ll need to solve the Treasury Puzzle to access the next area. Once you’ve completed the puzzle, follow the hallway to the end where the chest containing the Gold Bangle will be waiting for you to open.

Treasure: 7 - Golden Hourglass

The final treasure can be found in the next room. Head through the nearby doorway from the previous treasure, and you’ll be on the balcony of the Audience Chamber. Head right, past the two chandeliers, and kick down the ladder. Now, jump on the nearby chandelier to get across to the opposite side, turn right, and drop through the hole. As you land, the treasure chest containing the Golden Hourglass will be right in front of you.
