Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot

Enter Super Vegeta

By
Jarrod Garripoli

Trunks and Vegeta have both come out of the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, saying that they have broken the Super Saiyan barrier. You will also receive a visit from Bulma, who has brought everyone the same kind of armor that Vegeta wears. Once this is over, you will be in control of Gohan and asked to enter the Time Chamber. Do so for another scene between father and son, then get ready for another training session.

Gohan vs. Goku

This is a rather simple fight, simply because Goku doesn’t have much in the way of attacks. Plus, everything he uses here is something that you’ve seen a bunch of times, since you’ve played as him plenty. There is the Guided Kamehameha, as well as the Super Kamehameha. The former is much easier to avoid, since it doesn’t track too much and is a lot skinnier, while Super Kamehameha is wider. The only other Super Attack that Goku seems to use is Impact Strike, a melee move. This is easily blocked or dodged, so it’s nothing major.

Goku continues Gohan’s training, with emphasis on turning him into a Super Saiyan first before anything else. Meanwhile, Vegeta and Trunks get ready to go after Cell. When you gain control of Vegeta, open the world map and travel to the Southeast Islands Area. If you didn’t before, you should have some Super Attacks you could learn from the nearby Training Grounds on Roshi’s island. This is also a good time to check Trunks’ skill tree. When you’re ready, head to where Cell is located for a scene, then it’s time for the next fight.

Vegeta vs. Semi-Perfect Cell

Hey, it’s another one of those fights that’s pretty much the same as the previous ones. In fact, Cell here is nothing different than the previous fights, as he has all of the same Super Attacks. You have the two Kamehamehas, Piccolo’s Special Beam Cannon and even a few melee attacks. It’s nothing you haven’t seen before, and Cell isn’t that aggressive that you can’t just rush him to bring his health down quickly.

After the likely short battle is over, Krillin notices that the other two androids are actually on the same island as Cell, but neither him nor Vegeta knows about that. Being the prideful Saiyan that he is, Vegeta is tempted to let Cell obtain his perfect form, so he can see if his power is enough.
