Defeated the revived Zarbon | 38,616 EXP, D Medal (x1), Super Power Protein (x1), Zarbon’s Soul Emblem |
You need to be playing as Gohan in order to begin this substory. This substory only appears if you use the Dragon Balls to wish back Zarbon and can be started as soon as Intermission 2. You will find Zarbon in the Southeast Islands Area. Unlike the previous battles with revived villains, you will have to fight both of Zarbon’s forms here (normal and monster one). In his normal form, he only has access to Wild Blaster, a very quick Ki blast, and Bloody Dance. The latter is a series of rapid kicks (think Chun-Li from Street Fighter), that ends with a roundhouse kick similar to Raditz’s Cyclone Monday. If you can dodge backward from the kicks during Bloody Dance, you should be able to get off a beam attack.
In his Monster form, Zarbon is more or less the same. He still has both Wild Blaster and Bloody Dance, but he has a new skill in this form. That skill is Shooting Star Arrow, where Zarbon rains down a bunch of Ki blasts. While you’re dodging those, Zarbon will try to fly behind you and if he catches you, then you will be piledrived into the ground. Other than that, Zarbon is mostly the same and should be easily dispatched, especially if you bring some support characters.
