During Interplanetary Preps, travel to Master Roshi’s island and go inside the house to find Turtle, who has this substory for you. The food stock in Roshi’s fridge is a little bare right now and Gohan offers to get some ingredients for Turtle. He needs some Rice, Eggs and something called a Royal Tomato. The first two items can be bought from any food vendor, but the Royal Tomato will require some extra legwork. Turtle suggests going to the source, which is a farmer, but there is no precise location. Fast travel to Goku’s house and you will find the farmer to the north of it.

He’ll give you a Royal Tomato, if you hand over some Great Energetic Fish, ten to be exact. You might have some on you if you’ve been turning in Roshi’s Turtle School challenges, but you most likely don’t have the necessary amount. The farmer mentions areas with birds overhead, but if you want to get this done quickly, go back to Roshi’s island area and travel to the northwest island there. You should see an NPC by the docks who mentions the energetic fish, so dive into the water and pick up any items you come across (the sparklies from the fish). If you don’t get ten here, go to another area and come back. Once you have the right amount, bring them back to the farmer, who’ll give you a Royal Tomato. Bring back all of the items to Turtle to finish.
