This Substory can be gotten during Intermission 3, and requires that you finish Hyperbolic Time Chamber Renovations (you must be playing as Gohan for this). Popo is looking to create some furniture for Dende, but needs your help in procuring the ingredients. All he needs is timber, but it must come from trees that have met their end naturally, so Popo suggests getting Woodchips. You need a total of 15 for this and in order to find them, you have to be on the lookout for fallen logs. While you might find a majority of your logs by water sources, they are located in other areas. Your best bet is to fly through areas and use your Ki-searching ability while flying slowly, since this gives you a chance to spot the purple orbs you need to be looting for this. Some good areas for this include the Sacred Land of Korin and East Ravine Area. Once you collect 15 Woodchips, return to Popo to finish the substory.
