You can gain access to this Substory during Getting Ready for Goku, after you learn that Goku is going to be joining the World Tournament. You will find this substory in the Southeast Mountains Area, close to Satan City. It appears one of your classmates, Erasa, is being harassed by some guy. You confront this guy and he sics some Skull Robos on you. Make them scrap metal and Erasa ends up very impressed, wanting to test you in some other areas to see how much of a standout guy The Great Saiyaman is. These will come in the form of seeing how you drive, as well as your athletic ability.

The first destination will be not too far and will pit your driving skills. If you remember when you were trying for Goku’s license earlier in the game, then this is pretty much the same. You will be driving through a series of ten checkpoints, with there being a timer for each one. If you fail to reach the next checkpoint in time, then you will fail and have to start over again. Don’t forget to use the green boosts place along the “track.” Also, after the sixth checkpoint, you will be going offroad, so things get a little trickier and you will need to jump off of a ramp not too long after that to clear a gap. After that gap, you will be approaching the final checkpoint and won’t need to use the second ramp.

Upon finishing the driving segment, Erasa will have one more challenge for you, which is sports to test your athletic ability. This will come in the form of hitting baseballs, like near the beginning of the Buu Saga. The only difference this time is that you only get three pitches and you need to hit at least one of them for you to be able to continue. Upon getting a single hit, you will finally be done with this substory.
