What is Myth Rank and How It Works

By
Jarrod Garripoli

Your journey doesn’t end once you reach the max level in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, as there are more ways to increase the power of your character. This page will give an overview on what Myth Rank is and what it does.

How to Unlock Myth Rank

Unlocking Myth Rank is as simple as reaching the max level in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, which is level 40. You can try to do this before beating the main story, but it’s highly likely you will finish the game around level 30 or so. In order to grind more, it’s a good idea to start the Chaos Chamber and go through there in order to get the rest of your levels. If you need more leveling tips, check out the Fastest Way to Level page.

You will start out by picking a passive in the Druid tree

What is Myth Rank

If you have ever played Diablo III, then Myth Rank is pretty much similar to the Paragon system in that game. Any experience you gain after reaching level 40 will be put towards earning Myth Rank. It is located in the Myth Rank tab of your menu and is divided into four trees: Druid, Archmage, Blademaster, and Deadeye. You will not be able to put points into any tree right away, as the game restricts to unlocking things in a counterclockwise pattern. So, you will start with the Druid tree, then move on to Archmage, then Blademaster and finally, Deadeye. You can spend a point in each tree before moving to the next, and this goes on and on.

Note that each tree has multiple nodes and upon reaching each tree for the first time, all but the first node will be locked. So, not only are you restricted to a specific tree for each Myth Rank point, but you are further restricted by having to unlock the nodes on each tree. The majority of the nodes also have a cap to them, except for the last one in each tree, which will allow you to continuously put points into them as you unlock them. On the HUD, there will now be a purple bar on the bottom of your screen, indicating the experience bar for Myth Rank.

The game will force you to go clockwise, picking a skill from each one
