One of the best things about Borderlands games, as well as the spin-off, Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, is the Legendary items you can find. These items are gold in color and tend to have unique effects that are exclusive to that particular one. This page will concentrate on the Legendary Armor, the Diamond Gauntlets.
Where to Find the Diamond Gauntlets¶
The Diamond Gauntlets can be found as a world drop, meaning it’s possible to get it from any loot source. Outside of that, you can also get it as a dedicated drop from the minibosses in the Chaos Chamber. These are the ones that spawn from the obelisks during any run. Additionally, if you want to make things a little easier on yourself, head to the Chaos Chamber and farm the loot bunnies at the end (the Armor one) for an easier chance at this item.
Diamond Gauntlets’ Stats and Effects¶
While standing still, gain 50% increased Critical Hit Chance, Dark Magic Effiency, and a specific elemental damage. The Diamond Gauntlets can be a good armor, if it weren’t for the fact that you need to stand still in order to gain access to its special effect. This might be good for ranged builds, but enemies will still have an easy time hitting you from a distance, unless you were built with a lot of survivability. Since you gain a boost in Critical Hit Chance with this armor, you would probably want some passives to boost Critical Hit Damage.
