Whenever you create a new character in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, you will be able to distribute a total of ten extra Hero Points to your stats. In addition to that, you will gain another Hero Point each time you level up. This page will detail the important stats for the Spore Warden class.
A good build for the Spore Warden will revolve around its Mushroom Companion, while you sit back and pick enemies off with weapons and Action Skills. While either Action Skill can be good, you will want to make sure that your cooldown on Action Skills is quick. Increasing your damage is going to help with increasing the damage of your Companion, so those should be your main focus with this class.
Best Stats for Spore Warden¶
#1 - Dexterity¶
Dexterity increases the Critical Hit Chance for everything you do in the game. This goes hand-in-hand with the Strength stat, since if you’re building up the chance to critically hit enemies, then you will want to make sure you trigger those critical hits. Once you start diving into the later parts of the skill tree for the Spore Warden, you will likely be investing in Thrill of the Hunt, meaning your critical hits will increase your Companion Damage.
#2 - Attunement¶
Attunement increases the cooldown for your Action Skills. You will want to be using Action Skills quite often with the Spore Warden, so you will have to invest in this stat from the get go. The more you can your Action Skills, the better off you will be.
#3 - Strength¶
Strength increases the Critical Hit Damage you deal to enemies. If you want to build around critically hitting enemies, then you will always want to put points into Strength. This also holds true for the Village Idiot Backstory, as that will give you a total of eight more points into Strength, at a cost of only removing three Intelligence.
#4 - Constitution¶
Constitution increases the character’s Maximum Health and Ward (the shield). Unless you want to go with a glass cannon build, this stat is pretty much important to all classes in the game. If you want survivability, put a point into this every few levels, even moreso after focusing on the other stats above and reaching comfortable levels there.
Other Stats¶
Wisdom¶
Wisdom increases the damage from status effects and elements. While it’s true that there is a lot of elemental spells in the game, this might not be the best stat to focus on with the Spore Warden class. However, it might be a good idea to pump a Hero Point or two into this down the line, especially if you’re going for an elemental/status build. Otherwise, you can pretty much ignore this.
Intelligence¶
Intelligence increases the cooldown for your spells. You will probably be using spells here and there, but they aren’t too important to the Spore Warden. This is because the majority of your damage will likely be coming from your Mushroom Companion, your guns, and your Action Skills.
