Where to Find Frostallion and How to Breed Frostallion Noct

By
Jessica Dillon

"Frostallion" iconFrostallion is one of the many legendary Pals that you can find in the Palpagos Islands. Frostallion is a powerful Pal in the game and can help you unlock its alternate version, Frostallion Noct. Finding Frostallion can be a bit difficult, though, and capturing it takes a lot of work. The guide below goes over where to find Frostallion, how to catch it, and how to get its alternate version, Frostallion Noct.

Frostallion is a legendary Pal meant to challenge high level players.

Frostallion Map Location - Palworld

Frostallion is an end-game Pal that is found in the northern reaches of the map. He can be found at X: 355, Y: 505. You can also check his location on our map here. The nearest Eagle Statue is in the Land of Absolute Zero. Frostallion is a level 50 Alpha Boss and one of the game’s legendary Pals. Beating him is one of the last true challenges of the game, so you will need to come prepared. The area that you must travel through and battle Frostallion in is extremely cold, so you will need cold-resistant armor. It’s also a good idea to prepare some fire-based weaponry. As for the Pals you should bring with you, any strong Fire Pals are great, especially if you have a Pal like Jormuntide Ignis on your side.

Frostallion Boss Attacks

The wild Frostallion has an arsenal of strong Ice attacks to knock down your health bar. For the most part, you won’t be able to take this boss on by yourself. At the very least, you will need another Pal, but it’s best to bring a full team. If possible, you will want to team up with other players to keep the fight easy. It also has an incredibly low catch rate, so you will need an "Ultra Sphere" iconUltra Sphere or a "Legendary Sphere" iconLegendary Sphere to have the best chances of catching Frostallion. When defeated, Frostallion can drop "Diamond" iconDiamonds and "Ice Organ" iconIce Organs, which can both be rather useful items.

Frostallion has "Cooling" iconCooling four and the Legendary passive skill. This skill gives a 20% attack boost, a 20% defense boost, and a 15% movement speed boost. It’s worth noting that Frostallion doesn’t have a Lucky version and that a Lucky version of the Pal can’t currently be bred in the game. At this point in time, Frostallion should have a full roster of moves which includes "Crystal Wing" iconCrystal Wings, Crystal Breath, and Blizzard Strike.

Can You Breed Frostallion?

Yes, you can breed and hatch Frostallion in Palworld, but there is a catch. The only way to get a "Huge Frozen Egg" iconHuge Frozen Egg with a Frostallion in it is to breed two Frostallions together. This means that you will need to do the boss fight at least twice. After you have two Frostallions, you can breed as many as you want. Just keep in mind that it will take quite some time to hatch the egg. This is one of the best ways to have multiple Frostallions without having to engage in a tough boss battle each time. Keep in mind that hatched Frostallions will be born at level one with the move "Air Cannon" iconAir Cannon. You won’t start unlocking Ice type moves until it reaches level seven and unlocks "Ice Missile" iconIce Missile.

How to Get Frostallion Noct in Palworld

Frostallion Noct is, in many ways, a hidden Pal. Frostallion Noct is a Dark type Pal that has "Gathering" iconGathering four. This is because it doesn’t appear in the wild. The only way to get a Frostallion Noct is by breeding Frostallion with "Helzephyr" iconHelzephyr and then hatching the "Huge Dark Egg" iconHuge Dark Egg they produce. Helzephyr spawns around the base of the Frostbound Mountains, at Verdant Brook, and in the Moonless Shore area at night. Once you have one, place it in the Breeding Pen and give the Pals cake to get them to breed. If you need more information on the breeding process, check out our article here. After this, you simply need to hatch the egg to get a Frostallion Noct. Keep in mind that Frostallion Noct can inherit the Lucky trait if the Helzephyr has it. Like Frostallion, Frostallion Noct is born at level one with Air Cannon. It will unlock its first Dark type move, "Dark Ball" iconDark Ball, at level seven.
