Lynians are sentient, diminutive cats who walk around on their hind legs and have a very recognizable verbal tic of “nya” that they tack on to everything they say. Some, Palicos, hire themselves out to hunters, and other Lynians will also interact with humans by becoming cooks and housekeepers and mercenaries. Others are wild, living with other Lynians in the strange, mysterious places known as the Felyne Villages. Lynians are known for being one of the only classes of monsters incapable of dying. When attacked, Lynians will merely dig away to escape.
