Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate

Kushala Daora

By
Vincent Lau

Kushala Daora is a metallic elder dragon who has mastered the use of wind and snow to batter any unfortunate hunter. Said to bring storms and gales in its wake, this Elder Dragon is a force to be reckoned with. Do you have what it takes to conquer the relentless wind?

**Area** **Start** **Roam** **Rest**
Frozen Seaway 4 3, 5, 6, 7, 9 4
Dunes 7 1, 3, 4, 10 5

Attacks

Kushala Daora can cloak himself in a shield of perpetually swirling air. As Kushala Daora moves and attacks, the wind will create pressure that will trip you or, worse, send you flying backwards (when Kushala Daora is enraged). If you can afford to, Windproof (Lo) or Windproof (Hi) are invaluable skills to equip yourself with.

Dancing Swipe

Homing Charge: Kushala Daora will charge forward, and is capable of curving its path to home in on you, so watch out.

Storm Blast: Kushala Daora, when on the ground, will fire a blast of ice from its jaws. This sends you flying and inflicts Iceblight.

Jumping Storm Blast Kushala Daora will hop backwards and then fire a blast of ice where it was previously standing.

Frozen Vortex: Instead of firing a blast of ice, Kushala Daora will summon a giant, frozen tornado.

Twin Frozen Vortex Summon: When in the air, Kushala Daora will summon twin icy twisters. They will send you flying and inflict Iceblight, and they like to stick around in the area for a while before disappearing.

Swooping Charge: When in the air, Kushala Daora might try flying towards you to bowl you over.

Storm Talon Strike: When in the air, Kushala Daora will swoop towards you and rake you with its talons. This attack has homing capabilities.

Driveby Storm Blast: When in the air, Kushala Daora will fly around slowly, all the while breathing ice breath to freeze those in its way.

Breakable Parts

Wing: Can break each wing once. Webbing is visibly tattered.

Break Head: Can break once. Scales on the head will be visibly shattered and damaged.

Tail Cut: Tail can be severed and carved once.

Weaknesses

Elemental: Dragon, Thunder

Status: Poison
