Eating at the Kitchen

By
Vincent Lau

Eating food is good for you, both in real life and in this game.

This curiously Chinese Felyne will be your best friend when you’re out questing. Before you quest, you should always go and eat at his kitchen.

You will get special, daily Food Skills that will buff your maximum health and stamina bars, and give you special other buffs that can do anything from give you more invulnerability when you are knocked over, to slowing your stamina depletion when you run, to even increasing the number of rewards you get!

When ingredients are marked as fresh , they will give increased buffs to your health and stamina bars. You should always strive for using only the fresh ingredients.

There are four ways you can cook your food too. You can Saute, Stew, Steam, or Fry. Each will give you different skills that you can browse through using the D-pad. Using a Voucher, CP, or zennie, you can then pay for your meal and enjoy the amusing cutscene.

Later on when you fullfil the village request for a Fancy Spit, you will be able to cook your Raw Meat without having to go on Harvest Tours anymore! For 50 CP, you can cook up to 10 meats at once. Be careful with your timing though. If you mess up, all 10 of them will be burnt.
