Shah Dalamandur is far more aggressive and powerful than its cousin, the Dalamandur. Being a G Rank Elder Dragon means most of its powerful attacks, such as its head charge that it shares with Dalamandur, will be an immediate KO for you. Its powerful breath attacks will also be a clean one-shot. The best way to fight Shah Dalamandur is to bring Farcasters and materials to combine for another ten. Whenever Shah Dalamandur disappears below the mountain and then comes back up to prepare for a big attack, simply use the Farcaster to warp back to base camp and avoid any risk. It is rather boring and some may see it is a cop-out, but it is a guaranteed way to stay alive.

World Devourer: When Shah Dalamandur is enraged, and also as it becomes very low on health, the area by Shah Dalamandur’s chest will glow very bright and melt the ground beside it, creating pools of a magma-esque substance. Standing there will drain your health at an even faster rate than usual, even when compared to regular Dalamandur’s chest aura.

When Shah Dalamandur wraps its body around the tallest peak of Speartig Crag, you can climb up its body, just like with Dalamandur, and either try to land on its head to get free carves and lay bombs, or attack its giant shoulder spikes using Anti-Dragon Bombs provided to you at base camp.
