Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate

Meet the Wycoon

By
Vincent Lau

This odd man is specialty of equally odd jobs.

The Wycoon will join your caravan team when you have completed the 2* Urgent Quest Swing into Action . He can do a variety of odd jobs that nobody else can’t.

First off, and most important, the Wycoon can multiply your items. Simply give him some sort of plant or mushroom, and he will farm it for you and return to you more than what you started with.

Later on, through Village Requests that require Caravan Points (earned through questing), the Wycoon will add multiple carts so that you can multiply many things at once, and add more items that you can multiply, such as bugs and honey.

Village Requests pertaining to the Wycoon will pop up every now and again so be sure to check them out when they appear and fulfill them as quickly as possible!

Second, the Wycoon is a very well-connected merchant, and owns many monster parts from monsters you can’t fight in this game. Instead, you can trade a monster part for them.

Thus, you can make some sweet equipment and Decorations from monsters like Barroth and Nargacuga, despite the fact that you cannot actually fight them in-game!

Finally, the Wycoon has items for sale that change by the day. Unlike other markets, though, the Wycoon will need your Caravan Points. Yup, your CP (as it will be called from now on) is the currency the Wycoon prefers.

Make sure you stay on top of how many CP you have by questing efficiently and often. Quests will earn you anywhere between 10 - 100+ CP per quest. You can buy elusive items such as nectars for your Kinsect if you play Insect Glaive here.
