When the sun shows its face, the Rathalos come to play…and some, basking under its enchanting glow, become hypnotized by its cold stare, and in turn, become as cold as forged steel themselves. Nobody knows the source of their alluring silvery hide, but it is speculated widely (or at least, by me) that the sun has a huge role in the Silver Rathalos’s fearsome transformation from lord of the skies to wrath of the unforgiving rays.

Attacks

Silver Rathalos is faster and stronger…and has become the king of combos among his other flying wyvern brethren. Able to chain an attack into virtually any other attack, it really helps with the unpredictability factor, making Silver Rathalos quite the fight.

Flaming Side Chomp: Remember when Pink Rathian earned the fire alongside her originally-harmless side chomp, but Rathalos didn’t? Well, Silver Rathalos has finally earned it too.

Aerial Corona Fireball: While in the air, Silver Rathalos will do a small roar, then shoot a fireball that has a large area of explosion. It is similar to Rathian’s ground-based explosive blast, but it is done from the air instead.

Silver Rathalos shares all breakable parts with Rathalos and Azure Rathalos.
