Information about how to complete the quest “Den of Evil” in Diablo 2 Resurrected, including how to obtain a bonus Skill Point and the ability to respec one time.

The first quest of the game, you can start “Den of Evil” by talking to Akara in the Rogue Encampment. Your goal is to clear the eponymous Den of Evil dungeon, which can be found in the Blood Moor, which is right outside of the Rogue Encampment. Your goal in Den of Evil is to kill every monster lurking therein, and with Fallen Shaman sneakily raising their underlings, there’s bound to be one you’ll need to scour the area for.

Kill everything within and the area will light up, letting you know the deed is done (the game will start tracking your progress when there are five or fewer enemies left), then return to Akara to complete the quest and earn your reward. The Skill Point is granted to you automatically, while to use your respec you’ll have to select the “Reset Stat/Skill Points” option.

This quest can be tricky for some characters in Hell difficulty, as Ghouls and Wendigo are both immune to cold and Fallen and Fallen Shaman are immune to fire.
