Jack-of-all-trades, master of none, Sandstorm Trek offers some Run/Walk speed, Hit Recovery, bonuses to Strength and Vitality, some Stamina mitigation, and a solid amount of Poison Resistance. On their own, none of these stats are all that impressive, but collectively they make for fine footwear for almost any class. Sure, if you’re a magic finder you’ll want War Traveler, and if you’re a Summon Necromancer you’ll want [Marrowwalk], but the collection of modifiers on these boots should make them a welcome drop for any character.
Even better, since they repair durability, getting an ethereal set is actually a boon, as you’ll get lower requirements and higher Defense with no downside.
As elite-tier Heavy Boots, you shouldn’t expect to see Sandstorm Trek drop before late in Nightmare difficulty. Failing that, they can be farmed easily enough from Hell Andariel and Hell Mephisto.
