Another relic of Diablo 2’s distant past, Frostburn gauntlets used to be one of the better options for casters due to the immense Mana they bestow. Now, with runewords like Spirit and [Insight] relatively easy to obtain, such matters are less of a concern, which have relegated Frostburn to a quaternary role, at best. Still, if you have nothing better to wear, the Mana boost can still be worth using these for.
With an iLv of 39, you probably won’t see Frostburn gauntlets drop until late in Normal difficulty.
