As the name indicates, Tal Rasha’s Horadric Crest is part of the Tal Rasha’s Wrappings set in Diablo 2 Resurrected. Despite this, most of the stats are… decidedly unusual for a Sorceress (or a caster of any stripe, for that matter). This being the case, this item (along with Tal Rasha’s Lidless Eye) is usually not seen as a good candidate for hitting the wonderful three-piece Tal Rasha’s set bonuses compared to Tal Rasha’s Guardianship (armor), Tal Rasha’s Fine-Spun Cloth (belt) and Tal Rasha’s Adjudication (amulet).

While not terribly popular for casters, Tal Rasha’s Horadric Crest does still find some use, as its dual leech and bonuses to Life, Mana and All Resistances makes it a very solid midtier helmet for pretty much any character who uses their weapon to directly deal damage, like Barbarians and Amazons. It might not be endgame quality, but it’ll remain solid even in Hell difficulty. Even after it has worn out its welcome on your characters, it still make a great mercenary helmet.

Tal Rasha’s Horadric Crest is one of the more common exceptional items in the game. It’s a very common drop from Nightmare Mephisto, not to mention Hell Andariel and Mephisto.
