Diablo II: Resurrected

String of Ears

By
Nathan Garvin

A fairly common low/midrange belt, the String of Ears is mostly notable for its Damage Reduction modifier, which can reduce all incoming physical damage by 10% - 15%. This, along with its inherent 6% - 8% Life Leech makes it a solid belt for all melee combatants, and decent enough for anybody who might want a bit of added defense while lacking better options.

Its low iLv and base item (an exceptional Sash) means this belt can drop later in Normal difficulty, or any time in Nightmare or beyond. If you do Andariel or Mephisto runs, you’ll probably see this drop sooner rather than later.

While nobody will mistake it for a proper endgame belt, the String of Ears is easy to find and has a few good modifiers on it.
