Diablo II: Resurrected

Demon's Arch

By
Nathan Garvin

Demon’s Arch doesn’t get the love that Titan’s Revenge does… and for good reason. It’s harder to find and decidedly inferior in many ways. That’s not to say Demon’s Arch is a bad weapon… just that Titan’s Revenge is all kinds of silly, especially for a midtier drop.

Demon’s Arch does exceed Titan’s Revenge in at least one way - it has superior melee damage. Assuming your Javelin Amazon wants a better melee option from time to time, Demon’s Arch is a solid choice - especially if you can find an ethereal one. The +30% Increased Attack Speed, Life Leech and significant Enhanced Damage make this a fairly potent weapon, although the elemental damage is somewhat wasted, considering its purpose. Its “Replenishes Quantity” mod, of course, ensurese that it can never permanently run out of ammunition, which is just as good as durability in this case.

With an iLv of 87, you shouldn’t expect to see this item drop before Hell Mephisto. While it’s rarer than Titan’s Revenge, it’s not quite as rare as its iLv suggests - enough Mephisto runs and you’ll find one.

While it gets none of the fanfare of Titan’s Revenge, Demon’s Arch is arguably a superior melee option.
